  1. Jarvis Cocker already had a song on a Harry Potter end credits ('Magic Works' on Goblet of Fire) and that was way more cheesy than this song. Also if you've read the Epilogue from Deathly Hallows, you'll know that it's a cheese fest..so I don't think this is so unbelievable. I'm sure Chris could work his magic (sorry!) on this.
  2. I've heard various rumblings that Chris Martin is going to sing the end credits song for the final Harry Potter movie out next July. There is a demo of a song written for 'Deathly Hallows Pt2' on Youtube...I can totally imagine Chris Martin singing it, check it out [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M18t7rVVtR8]YouTube - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.2 : End Credits Song[/ame]

Probably their best album is 'East of the sun, west of the moon' which was released 1990. The three albums since the comeback in 2000 are all worth checking out though. ('minor earth major sky', 'lifelines' and 'analogue'). There was a live album released a couple of years ago called 'how can i sleep with your voice in my head'.

'Birthright' and 'Analogue' deserve to be huge, and would be if they ever got any radio support over here in the UK. The previous two albums were great as well, but didn't sell very well over here. They tour the UK in december though. I have my tickets for the Wembley Arena gig. Should be a fantastic night.
  6. Its no secret that Coldplay are big A-ha fans and are heavily infuenced by their sound. Worth a mention then that A-ha have a fantastic new album out this week. Its called 'Analogue' and contains 13 superbly crafted songs, highlights being 'birthright', 'holy ground', 'make it soon' and the awesome title track. This is the album X & Y wishes it was! Go out and but it today.
