Yeah I'd probably feel like that too if I went alone. I guess you could find the people who have the highest ratings on the couch surfing site and choose to stay at their houses. If they've had many people living with them they probably know how to make you feel comfortable. Yeah it is :nice: I remember one winter when a friend of mine took turns at going in a pulk (if it's the right word) which was attached with ropes to the saddle that was on my friend's horse. So I'd ride the horse while my friend would sit in the pulk and then we'd switch after a while :awesome: kinda like a sleigh ride only much faster and scarier :awesome: isnt it :blush:
