Damon Albarn new band : THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE QUEEN
I absolutely loved it! Seriously, I'm impressed. I was really interested but never expected something as good. Whoa will have to get that one you posted as well now! So the album's out early '07? I think I'm getting excited!

Oh definitely do so! Check last page (or the one before) as Red posted a little explanation on how to get it working. It took me a while to figure it out too but it finally worked. If that's still not going, make sure you PM or something and I'll reup it. It's REALLY worthy, trust me. I think I might be liking it much more than the actual album  But yeah, some killer renditions of lots of fantastic songs.

:laugh3: I swear he can stand in front of me telling me whatever dirty insults or whatever and to fuck off, and still I'd stare in awe. I act stupid whenever someone mentions him :laugh4: When I saw them everyone was really pissed off cause he wasn't exactly nice to the audience (), and I was all awwww Ilovehimhesperfect

No no no, no announcements at all so far, and I don't really think they're working on one yet. They keep doing "new" songs at radio sessions or something, but those are most of the times bsides. Only one that's been permament on tour is 'Always...', which they introduce as a brand new track everytime even though it's ancient! :laugh4: So yeah, basically touring now. Sooo Dani, sounds like the sensible thing to do to be honest. It was wayyy to risky this time. I'm sure they'll do great in the US and they'll go back  By the way, I just find it hilarious the siggy of one of the guys in their forum! It's like this quote from some sort of message board (myspace probably) which says (:\ okey, this is getting confusing lmfao I can't fucking write properly!) one message off him asking them to visit the US, he loves them etc etc (back from '05) and then their answer saying: We'd love to but we need to take over the UK first. I don't know if that made any sense at all but yeah, it's so fucking true, I love it how it's all so real now.

Aw :laugh4: That's so Liam-esque! He probably loves the man so that's why he's slagging him off. It's Liam's way to show he loves someone! I seriously love the man

PICSPAM TIME :idea2: Lower area -> :stunned: :wink3: I'll give a prize to the one that can spot more than one guy in that audience  Isn't he looking more of a ginger lately? COOL LUKE. (I was there a month after that happened :bigcry:) I can't help feeling a bit sad and nostalgic when seeing that :(

The Strokes
I have that same jacket Fab is wearing at the Henessy thingy. Well not the exact same one, but almost! (Not the leather one, but the one under that!). RANDOM. OOOOOOOOOOh and thanks so much for the photos  I'm drooling over Fab atm.:heart:

Aww no worries, my pleasure :wink2: So okey Dani, this is esp. for you but remember, I don't know how reliable this info is (considering everyone at their forum is far from nice...). Someone mentioned that free tickets would be given away at the Brooklyn signing, though I find it a bit strange considering it's a sold-out gig? Oh wel, just thought I'd let you know just in case.

Awww that's such a cute photo :nice:- Richard Ashcroft - Solo Work & United Nations of Sound
^ That's a clip from the song. Listening to it again I have to admit the melody's catchy and would like to hear a produced version of it. I've been a bit harsh on all Richard related lately, so I'm kind of trying to get back to normal now :laugh4:- What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?

There you go: http://www.sendspace.com/file/y2mf04 Oh one more thing about the acoustic album: probably my favourite bit is the end of YDLM. The way Luke signs is like on the album (hah don't know how to explain it!) and I hate it that he never sings it that way live! So yeah, swear that's the last thing I'll say about the album (I hope! :laugh3:).- **The Kooks!**
:laugh4: Just checked again (no, I'm not listening to it all over again ) and it's actually 'Sofa Song'. I love that bit SOOOO much! It's hilarious. And people there hardly laughed back! I mean, it's Abbey Road, so they sure spoke the language! :laugh3: Dani: I'm sure I posted it on the covers thread a while back, but that's probably dead by now, so I'll upload it in a minute. Talking about annoying audiences, that's probably running for one of the most annoying ones! But still, you can get the idea from a (very) poor recording.- **The Kooks!**
Oh exactly! Was thinking that same thing about his voice all the time! It's really gorgeous. I know what you mean about Naive, same happens to me with Jackie. That version should have been in the album instead of the actual one. And the tambourine is soooo perfect in that song. Wooo can't really stop listening to this album!- The Libertines, Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things, Yeti Etc.
Awww was about to quote that too! It's just the perfect thing to say at the moment. I so hate forums for those kind of things. People think that because they're fans or know a couple of songs/whatever have the right to start slagging people off as if they own that position. I don't know, it's a totally different thing stating what you think about a particular thing (still, don't think it's right to be judgemental in any case), but when respect is lost that's just unacceptable. And whoever states such judgements should really be ashamed of calling him/herself a fan, or a decent person still. It does sound a bit too radical, but I think that's the only option I'm left with. On a personal note, I'm extremely put off by those kind of things. As, for example (I know, not much to do but still, you get the point), on gigs, when people standing right next to the stage start talking among them in the middle of songs, when they've been pushing for the last half hour as mad to get to the front. I mean, wtf? I can totally understand if you were, say, dragged to a concert, or you just popped down for curiosity, But then, stay by the bar, have a drink and chill out without bothering other people. There's no need to be shoving when you can be much more confortable at the back. I know, that was pretty random but I think it's kinda the same with all this Peter slagging. And as Tea say, MOVE ON. This things happens everytime a band breaks up. What's the need of finding the guilty one? When probably, there was no guilty one. I mean, we've all had our moments of anger wishing they never broke up, but they did, so deal with it. This is so fucking annoying.- What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
