Oh long time without posting on here! I totally understand your DPT etc addiction but share the love! SO not fair for these boys:

Richard Ashcroft - Solo Work & United Nations of Sound
It's your call after all, and I don't want to sound as if standing up for him (cause I'm really not, I agree that he should have given some kind of explanation), but I think cancelling with only some hours of advance means exactly the opposite. He was REALLY ill and he was close to losing his voice, but anyway he sure wanted to perform all the same til the last minute. Again, it was doctor's advice, and yeah, it's kind of a very old issue. I just can't help feeling happy for him being back on stage and rescheduling this tour :D

The Libertines, Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things, Yeti Etc.
Sure thing, only problem is I'm already in uni so I might as well wait a couple more years  Anyway, had a bit of spare time (ok, I've got to admit I did nothing at all all afternoon :\), so I ripped the audio off it :) So for anyone who's interested, I present you with... http://rapidshare.de/files/33145828/chinese_dog.mp3 Oh and in case anyone wants the video to treasure, I'm on my way uploading it. Quality is really crappy but original video was as well! edit: video upload done -> http://rapidshare.de/files/33147639/chinese_dog.mpg

Ditto. I'm so moving to the UK the minute I'm done with uni!

I'm liking it so badly! Thanks again for the link :D:D:D Oohh I'm so stupidly happy now! So what about ripping the audio off it? Sound is not the best but at least it's something to keep listening to :laugh3:

The Jeff Buckley appreciation thread (November 17, 1966 - May 29th , 1997)
Oh can't believe I've just came across this thread :( Oh Jeff, is there something left to say? HUGE is the only word that comes to mind atm. And probably THANK YOU as well, but it's been said before.

Haha I guess I still don't understand how people can waste an opportunity just like that. Life is so unfair :\

The Strokes
People were annoying when I saw them back last year. When are people going to learn how to enjoy a gig in a healthy way? :bigcry: Ha I sounded old!

Fucking HUGE, but that's the nice thing about it isn't it? :nice:

Hey that sounds cool, glad you had such a nice time! So no, I don't think Max was there as he's still not back playing, rumours are he might have checked into rehab but you know, rumours are only rumours! A lil interview from Lowlands (quite a stupid one btw!): http://www.toazted.co.uk/interview/866/Kooks,-The.html

So anyone's excited about this tour? He might try and make it up for the cancelled dates! But yeah, not much hope left after that heh?

The Libertines, Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things, Yeti Etc.
Hey you are one lucky person indeed! That's so cool, having the chance of getting to talk with people you admire or at least have some sort of interest in. And I even had dirty thoughts looking at those signatures. How many people can one fancy?

Richard Ashcroft - Solo Work & United Nations of Sound
Ooh I'm confident this time, though I have to be honest, cancelling is quite common when it comes to him. These are kind of warm-up gigs, so I don't think he'll be cancelling right before his UK arena dates. Now that would be a serious shame! But I totally get your reaction, I'm sure it was such a disappointment last time!

Looks like it was rescheduled after all! Anyone here going to any of his French/German dates?

It is kind of a very sad soap-opera story. Aww friendship can get tough at times  We should be glad they're still around after all they've been through.
-
Ryan Adams
My thoughts exactly. Haven't heard any of his stuff in such a long time and now I see this thread and remember how much I miss him. For me, 'Love is hell' IS a masterpiece in itself, it's amazing the effect an album can have on you :)

What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
The Verve - Jerusalem

Judging from the "leather sofa" bit on wikipedia, it might have been their first reunion (I would totally ignore this if I were you anyway :laugh3:)
