  1. Well it's not amazingly written, it's not that captivating of a story, it's just a generic fantasy tale, why is it more popular than, a probably better, alternative?

  9. Well what is a Zombie? They were eating people in 28 days later, remember at the end they die of starvation? It didn't just make them angry. Dead Set was like inbetween that and convention, they weren't really fast but they could move. If you actually see the original Night of the Living Dead (which was referenced in Dead Set) the "zombies" actually move reasonably fast, they can't run but they don't shuffle along, particularly in the first encounter, where she gets chased across a graveyard by one of them. Then in the orignal Dawn of the Dead they became slow, but that was to make the point that people underestimate them because they are so stupid and slow, but when you underestimate them, you die, the sheer number of them will kill you. I don't prefer either type, I think they both suit different kinds of movie and I believe the running Zombies worked for Dead Set and I don't see why it should have to stick to set rules, Zombies are fictonal and can be modified any way the writer sees fit. Vampires are a prime example of that, there are so many different kinds of vampire.
