I don't even think you have to "come out", you shouldn't have to really, it's not information that is vital to know about someone. Are your family conservative about that sort of thing? You don't like being gay? Is that because of prejudice that you've experienced yourself? I can't say I've ever been witness to true homophobia, I imagine it's a horrible thing though. I think society is becoming more and more accepting, but it's sickening to me personally that people would discriminate because of sexuality.

Well you can't be defined into "gay" or "straight" it's really not as simple as that, I normally say I am "fairly straight" it's ambiguous enough to make people think and to cover my several man-crushes. This is also something I am really interested in, what makes someone homosexual and someone else not? I am of the opinion that it is somehow in your genes as you don't really make a conscious choice about it, you just feel the way you do. I was talking to someone about it though and they thought it would be a bad thing if they figured out why people are a certain sexuality, I thought that was a ridiculous thing to think at first, but then he made a very good point. If they can find out what "causes" it then maybe they can figure out how to stop people being attracted to either gender and that is most certainly not a good thing
