Yes that one rap group is good..every other rap artist in the world sucks. From now on you shall be the sole determiner of good music. Why do you care if you're labeled a fag or a gay for liking coldplay? You're doing the same by questioning their intelligence. Hold yourself to a higher standard. Accept that what is music to you may be trash to someone else, and what is trash to you is music to someone else. The world would be a boring place if everyone listened to coldplay and radiohead and there was no variety out there.

They don't "try" to make good music? You know something about rappers that I don't? You've seen their recording sessions? The quality of music and lyrics has nothing to do with the level of talent possessed by most rappers or the amount of effort (or lack of..according to you) they put in their music...they simply do what sells..and I don't blame them (the artists). Jay-Z made a comment years ago saying that he could make his lyrics more intelligent or political (don't remember exact quotes), but its easier to simply make music that sells. What was that song that was popular last year..."this is why i'm hot" or something like that...hell in the lyrics the artists goes out and says that "i can sell a million by singing one line" (or something like that). Do i like the song? Hell no..its stupid. Do I have anything against the artist for understanding what sells and using it to his advantage? No. If you're looking for good rap look towards talib kweli, mos def, immortal technique and similar artists...there are good rappers out there but you won't find them on a top 10 chart. Other thing you have to keep in mind that everyone's taste in music is different and also dependent on things like their mood...age...things going on in their life etc etc etc. I doubt that anyone above the age of 18 would pay for a miley whatever-her-name-is song's. Prolly pre-teen girls who use their parent's credit cards on itunes to purchase the tracks =0)...thats the only logical explanation I can come up with =0). Personally I don't care what the charts look like...I listen to what I like, discover new artists/songs through friends, and I don't listen to the radio. Let the world have its katy perrys (or whatever her name is)..as long as they don't bug me, I won't go around creating threads about how much their music sucks.

Yup takes some of them (esp lovers of japan) way to far.....hell you could take these songs to mean ANYTHING if you used his approach.. Politik is a reference to the Poltk, brother of the ancient god Roltk. Roltk once ate a cat for breakfast..so Politik is obviously a song saying that we should all eat dogs for breakfast.

Reign of love is a good song but gets lost among the other tracks when you're listening to the album for the first 60-80 times =0) After that when the other songs aren't so new anymore you're able to appreciate reign of love for what it is Works better in a playlist with tracks from all their albums + B-sides, then a playlist with just the new album (IMO).

Whats $20-$30 considering the show was free :) ? Even if the show wasn't free the prices are in line with what merchandise at other artist's concerts sell for.

It was a single but only in a handful of countries if memory serves me right..

I just stick it in front of my pants..between underwear and jeans..and cover it with my sweatshirt...if anyone asks...yes I'm that excited to see the show (nah it works coz my cam is small, and because if the sweatshirt is baggy they wont even look twice)

What do you expect if your first post on the forum calls the album an "absolute disappointment" and "garbage"? Go ahead and make similar comments on any forum and most ppl will instantly think you're just another troll (btw there are other threads on the same topic as yours - search bar is right at the top of the page and theres no way you can miss it) and give you attitude.
