i think a child should always be able to express themselves in whatever way bc i know i used to get maaaaaaaad :-x at my parents for not letting me listen to stuff. the thing i hate tho and the thing that isnt right is for parents to get all hot and bothered over the smallest thing in music, i mean if u were listening to radiohead and ur parents got mad because of some stupid thing thats not fair bc you could be listening to horrible stuff. the thing that bothers me is my parents wont even take time to appreciate good music, no i dont in any way expect them to like what i like. i agree 100% w/ what Reilly said:"There is only one way to gaurantee your child wont end up being stupid enough to be persuaded to do something by listening to a song, by letting them have the freedom to express themself as well as making them realise that different people have different stories for their life, some people talk about suicide, others talk about busting caps and hoe's.
