yes and some meds kill your feelings. I can't feel really low but you can't feel really high either. Some meds make you feel pretty happy and you don't realize that you really aren't that happy after all. and if you don't take your meds.. little electric shocks in your brain and other fun stuff. nice

I don't think optimistic music/ optimism is something that's all happy-go-lucky it's music that "sees the light at the end of the tunnel" an optimist actually acknowledges that things are fucked up but believes in change

I don't think Radiohead are depressing unless you are depressed yourself. their music is sad, yes but the hope is always there. some songs are "depressed"

I know that duh but who's saying you should listen to happy music when depressed. Optimistic music is the best choice imo some kinds of happy music make me even sadder.
