which guitar is Jon using?
Someone said he plays a 1972 Re-issue Tele... I was just wondering, I went to see them a few weeks ago in NH and he played a black Fender Thinline and it looked pretty new. Does anyone know if this is a re-issue as well? If so, why does this guy who has tons of cash no doubt play a re-issue? The difference in sound in my opinion is like night and day.

New Canadian Brit-Rock influenced band releases album!
Hi everyone, My name is Thom and I'm in an original Brit Rock influenced band called Sproll. Our music is a cross between bands like Coldplay, U2, Travis, Keane and The Perishers. We are based out of Moncton, NB Canada and have just released our first professional EP entitled "Soft Science" which if you like the song samples, you can have it delivered to your door taxes in for $14.44 CDN in Canada, and in the US for $12.90 USD. International shipping is also available for about $1 more. Below is a copy of our press release and a link to the site where you can listen to samples and buy the CD if you like what you hear. Please don't take this message as spam because even though it is my first one, I really do love Coldplay and all of their albums. I think Fix You is probably the best song they have ever written and I can't wait to hear what they come out with in the future. (or when I go see them in Manchester in April!) Trust me, this won't be my last post! Thanks for listening! Thom The long awaited EP from Sproll entitled "Soft Science" is now available in advance online at: http://www.quadraphonicrecords.com (ships worldwide) http://www.myspace.com/sproll (for more samples) ** The first 50 orders will receive an autographed CD, as well as a new Sproll sticker and pin. Their powerful and emotional songs are rich in sonic landscapes and feature lyrics and melodies that seem to speak directly to the listener. Corey Hachey’s unique yet defining vocal melodies truly mark the band’s sound and character. By working with the right individuals in the industry to obtain a quality recording, the band assembled a production team led by well known producer/engineer Laurence Currie (Sloan, The Gandharvas, Wintersleep) to oversee the project. The EP was recorded in Halifax, NS at Idea of East Recording Ltd. “We pushed ourselves to the limit for this record, and we are proud of what we accomplished.” explains guitarist Neal MacLean. Based out of Moncton, NB, Sproll was formed in April 2003 by guitarist Neal MacLean and vocalist Corey Hachey. Finding the other musicians that provided a proper fit into the group’s musical vision proved to be difficult, but in being so selective the band is now extremely confident in their willingness to work together towards a common goal. The dynamic rhythm section consisting of bassist Austin Farquhar, drummer Thom Cooke and keyboardist Mike Goyette rounds out this talented fivesome. Each of these members bring their own musical background and extensive experience to the table for an interesting mixture of sounds and arrangements.
