I have VLC, I really don't want Windows Media Player I just don't understand why I can't install some software thats for Mac. I have had problems installing other programs that were for the Mac. Everytime it downloads, it asks what program I want to open for the installation. Its like it doesn't recognize the program. Windows Media player was just a recent example that didn't work.

I have a Mac OSX, yet when I try to download the most recent version of Windows Media Player for Mac, which is Windows Media Player 9, it downloads on my desktop and then asks me what program I want ot use to open it. The Installation windows do not appear, and its not in a Zip file or anything like that its already extracted. Why can't I install a program for my Mac?

Just checked out Tortoise another post-rock band, but I think their terrible. However, I love GSYBE, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, and Explosions in the Sky. Cds... I checked on wikipedia for dates, so I agree they might not be accurate. In an interview given in May 2007 to Kerrang!, Muse stated that work on a new album and new songs, some more in line with electronic or "dance music" and others more with classical or symphonic music had begun. The band is also thinking of hiring an orchestra for some of the tracks. They also revealed that the next album should be self-produced, in order to have more freedom. In an interview in a January 2008 edition of NME, Matt Bellamy stated that he is not sure of what format the new songs are going to take, stating, "it may just be albums, but it may be a stream of singles, or it may just be one 50-minute symphony, do you know what i mean? Who knows?" The new songs will be released in whatever shape or form in late 2008-early 2009. [28]

Try Their Newest album or The Postal Service album Give Up, since its the same singer, its actually quite dreamlike. The singers voice is very calming Its very decent music...

I just noticed Itunes did this, so if I import my mp3's into itunes (using this setting) then my mp3s in Itunes will be in Apple Lossless, how does quality simply improve? Im confused...
