  1. Okay, I’m going to say this but I can guarantee that I’m not the only one who thinks this: I think it is really sad that some of you have posted almost 35000 times. What kind of “real” life do you have that you need to create this “virtual” life on on-line forums? I understand the desire (or in this case the obsession) to connect to people, but you do this at a cost of spending countless hours with people you’ll most likely never experience a more meaningful and fulfilling relationship with. I just find this really sad: mc_squared Join date: Apr 2003 # posts as of Dec 22, 2007: 34,808 average posts per day: 20 RICK8 Join date: Sep 2005 # posts as of Dec 22, 2007: 34,259 average posts per day: 40 Think of all the hours you spend here, or other forums you participate in, and contemplate what you could better do with that time to change the world. Make it a better place. And I’m not suggesting that you don’t do a bit of that in your everyday life, but think of the difference you can make if you devote as much time and energy to a charitable cause as you spend here. You’ve only got one life, is this how you really want to spend it? And you can say what you want back, but I’m not going to respond because I do have a life and will be traveling and experiencing the world for the next few months, or at least until the next Coldplay album arrives….DO SOMETHING MORE POSITIVE WITH YOUR LIVES!
  2. New Zealand, and by myself! I love traveling alone best, because I get to decide where to go when.
  3. I have heard that Avebury is actually better than Stonehenge - bigger and better yes? I think there are many castles to visit, which 1 or 2 do you recommend? I will be going the 27th until Jan 14th, but only staying in London until the 1st. That gives me 2 weeks elsewhere....!
  4. Great, thanks for the tip. An your first post too! I feel privileged! And thanks to you sally. I apprecriate your suggestions, and I think a trip to Liverpool is definely on. And Mark...thanks for spamming my thread so much, yet contributing so little!
  5. Cool, thanks. I have been told to go to Bath, and I think Stonehenge is on the way there? Although, it's fenced in, right? You cannot get too close I hear. I'll look into Winchester...any particular reason to go there? Great! Love to hear more about these two..... Okay, where is the place to be in London on New Years?
  6. Hi All! I will be coming to England for a few weeks over the holidays, and I was hoping to get some recomendations as to where to go while I'm there for 3 weeks. Since this is my first time, I don't want to miss a "must see". If you have visited, or are English, please let me know where you should think I should go (cities) or visit (castles, museums, etc.). Please be specific so that I can find it! Cheers!
  7. Yes, let's start as many useless threads about useless bands as we can to bash other people's opinions and musical taste. I'm sure Coldplaying members (and Coldplay themselves) would appreciate that. You two members should be banned for bad attitudes. That is not what Coldplay is about.
  8. Can you PM me some songs as well? I heard their song "movies of antartica" and I love it!! thanks so much!
  9. You took my thought!  How about ... Ode to Mouthwash?
  10. i have downloaded the link, and i like their sound a lot. i love the drum tracks and the guitar, and the voice is not too bad :D
