  1. I've read Netties posts since way back in the old Coldplay.com forum days. Though I didn't know her personally, I'm sure many of us share a feeling of loss because we could relate to her passion for Coldplay and great music. Condolences to everyone here on the boards who knew her and especially her family.
  2. Oh man, that is golden Michie right there ^^^^^
  3. Good morning too and thanks, especially for that first one with C shaking hands across the table, it's pretty.
  4. Exactly what they described....stripped down, quiet, acoustic, and more sentimantal. In other words, Parachutes Part II....but not. Make sense?
  5. Just a Little review: I thought the show was solid, Did anyone else think Chrissy sounds like his voice is taking a tiny bit of a beating....just a little more of a hard edged rasp than normal but still beautiful as always. Boys seemed comfortable and in the groove. I thought maybe the crowd came up a little short on the sing-a-longs (I could be wrong) , but they were ridiculously loud in between songs! I grabbed Phil while he was roaming around the front taking pics and gave him my cowboy hat with Viva butterflies glued to it and asked him to see if he could get Will to wear it during the encore. 3 minutes later Chris picked it up from the floor behind Will, put in on his head for exactly 1 second, then on Will's head for 1 second , then off. If you blinked you missed it, but fun for me still. Finally, I was directly on the Guy ramp but as some fellow CPers will not be surprised to hear, I forgot to bring my camera to S.A.:\ Massive bummer. Awaiting some good pics from other Coldplayers so let's see'em folks!
  6. Angie, did you see he also pointed over to yall when he said "well some of you do"...I thought-jeez, Franksie filled him in, he even knows where they're sitting!
  7. :o:o:oLordy Gianna, my husband kept asking when you were gonna post those pics!!!! Sure enough they are just incredible!!! We are spoiled with video and pic on this Indy thread aren't we ?!
  8. ....release date. Did a date ever get mentioned for publication?
  9. Lori,Lori,Lori.....THAT"S why I didn't take any video....cuz I knew you would bring it way better than I could from my spot.....Yes!!!
  10. Thank god, I'll finally freakin thaw out...wtf is with this weather?
  11. I'm cracking up Angie!!! ...We were about 1/2 way out of the shed and my hubbie says...ummmmm, what happened to Angie?...look around ....nowhere to be seen. Now at least I know what happened to you....you were booking to get outta there! . He also during Snow Patrol was like "look at Angie, she knows EVERY word!" - you must have been in heaven! I'm bummed there were more Coldplayers I didn't know where there...IceDude, BreakfastOfChampion, Novah & Coldplymama..., I wish we could have gotten all together for 1 big pic. Chris was having a love fest with the family of the 2 cute teenagers that had been in line since 10:30. Her brother and his mom & bro joined them up front and I have never seen a family so absolutely freaked out by every song...ALL of them were like "Strawberry Swing???" OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!! 42?? OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!! Chris was giving them a ridiculous amount of love via the hi-5, step on the head, googly eyes kind. It was fun to watch even if I was a leeeetle jealous.
  12. Well peeps, finally back from a long day and night with coldplay & lots of COLDPLAYERS!!. The band was great musically, (if in fact I did think Guy was a little tired/chilled out) & Chris seemed to be going that extra mile to make up for it. His voice sounded fab except for 1 tiny crack - which made him give a little giggle , during 42 I think it was. After a ridiculous amount of pre-entrance drama, starting with the Verizon cell phone early entrance promotion...."suprise, surprise people who've been waiting in front of the venue for 4-7 hours, you can't go in until the people with Verizon phones get in first!!" Whaaaaaaaat???????? .... And then my idiotic brain spasm upon losing my ticket 2 minutes before they open the gates.....(no details, I am too embarrassed) But finally, with an awesome co-operative posse of dedicated people from these boards, we all got into the pit on that front railing!....it definitely pays to have great people from the boards to hang with before the show. It was like a mini Coldlpaying.com convention (and an awesome preview that Wembley is going to be epic!) Oh yeah! The bonus of hubbie coming with and dancing his ass off the whole show was sweet too, and he got pretty damn excited when Jonny gave him a high five at the end. The show as everyone knows was without any set list surprises, and I'm sure there are others who will review with some juicier details--Angie, Lori...???, but I had just as much of a blast hanging out with other coldplayers as I did enjoying the show itself. Good Times, Gooooood Times. Here's some of the gang and then a few pics from the show...
  13. Okay boys and girls, at the show with Josh-Ebs757, jdeuciswild, TheAngie, and Lori-Kissesbirds. First twitter up and running at kspillers2....more to follow as bandwidth allows.
  14. Okay, thanks SO much for posting such a lovely, flattering, picture of me, really. ......(And you have to wear that butterfly shirt.)
  15. Josh, if that's you in your avatar, I bet we'll recognze you.
  16. Okay Ebs, you too!! I've described myself earlier, so do the same & we'll have a posse of Coldplayers lining the front of that pit yeah!... ....edit: .....Wait are you Mike?
  17. Liz, how will we recognize you...do you know Lori (KissesBirds) becaue we'll be together in line....~Kelly
  18. I'd love to say Hi to all the coldplayers at the show...I'll be looking for that great shirt and a tall husband when I'm standing in line for the pit. I have very short, very blond hair and I'll be with my tall husband- and of course Lori and The Angie to make it official!- so please come up and introduce yourselves. It's always more fun to hang with with equally obsessed coldplayers!
  19. Wow, your friend is uncool, but coldplaykarma can be a bitch too...
  20. Are you suggesting that people going to the shows should grab a handfull so we can get you and your friends some? (I hope not because that means someone who paid for a ticket would likely be shortchanged. ) On the other hand there is a thread where nice people are asking nicely for one extra nice copy from a really nice show-goer. Maybe you want to visit that nice thread and get in line for one.:)
  21. I just got to the reviews/pics part of this thread and it sounds like you girls had such a fantastic time! I love it when coldplaying.com brings a bunch of crazy-go-nuts fans together! Yalls pics and signs were great too. I was feeling a little old when none of the 18-24 crowd around me in the pit recognized the New Order song in Atlanta,( but I have to admit it was the only song of his I enjoyed) eek! Howling Bells was pretty fab though. Did anyone else at other venues enjoy their set as well?
  22. I know some girls in the Jonny thread who would consider that blasphemy:laugh3::laugh3: Aniskywalker, the shrt is fantastic...Did you free hand all that lettering, it's perfect!!
