  1. Entered! Thanks, Ian :D I always double-check these things before I enter them, even when they're stupid questions . So before I put in my answer, I counted off the albums on my fingers, even though I know the number of them better than I know my own name :dozey:. Not like it'll make any difference in the end anyway, but I just want to see what these things look like! :wideeyed:
  2. Haha, I just realized that "Chavi, your avi..." rhymes . Maybe I should have called you Chaco instead :P And thanks! But Jonny just looks so cute in yours... [O/T fangirlyness]
  3. Chavi, your avi is ADORABLE :cheesy:
  4. For anyone who wants to read a more polished yet equally long review of my experience, I posted it on my blog: http://bit.ly/fqmrbF :D I also remembered suddenly that at the end when we were all leaving, I thought it was hilarious to see Matt McGinn getting down to work messing with all the cables and stuff on the floor in a tight, rhinestoned Elvis outfit . If I had been closer to him upon leaving, I would have said something, but alas, I didn't want to shout out to him across the room and be annoying.
  5. Haha, it's not THAT diva-y, but when we were at the Christmas Lights video shoot, we hung around til 3AM when they were leaving to see if we could say hi to them. Guy was the first to leave and he was getting into his car when he saw the three of us. He didn't have to come over to us, of course, but he came over, the whole time saying "I really have to go, I don't have much time, I really want to leave." I thought it was funny, since he didn't have to come over and we weren't begging him to, yet he was kind of acting like we dragged him over there. He wasn't rude or anything, though, he was just in a pretty bad mood, especially compared to Jonny and Will, who were lovely to us despite the cold and the time :P. Chris too, but he let his tiredness show a bit more.
  6. He is a diva! I love him to death, of course, but he's a moody pretty-boy, it has to be said :P
  7. Thanks! They're so long I'm surprised anyone reads them :P. They're heartfelt, though, anyway.
  8. OMG, the board sensors the compound word "pocket watch" because part of it spells out T-W-*-T
  9. :stunned: I cannot express how awesome you are for recording and transcribing this. I was just thinking how I wished I could remember every little funny thing they said, and...ksjgksfjgkf this is so great :wacky:. Thank you! It helped me remember some of the things that were inaudible as well, which is just awesome
  10. I think this is a huge part of the reason I've been so happy with the two (effing amazing) Coldplay experiences I've had in the past two weeks: I got to just kind of hang out in their presence, watching them do their thing and behave like real people rather than performers or people with cameras watching their every move. Just listening to and participating in the audience/band banter and hearing them talk to each other and watching them do little human-y things we all do is so cool :wacky:.
  11. OK, this is SUPER long, but for anyone who's interested...this is my review :nice:
  12. That's my head at the bottom, with the dark hair and the clips at the back :wacky:
  13. Today was completely flawless. I wasn't expecting it to be as amazing as it was, to be honest, even though I was expecting to have a good time. But wow, I just had such a great day overall. I'll type up a review and post it soon, I literally just got back in the door of my house :P. But God, these four guys and that music makes me so indescribably happy.
  14. City of Norwich! I was going to get a 7AM train out to London rather than 8AM, but it cost £20 more :freak:. Maybe I should have in the end, but I have to draw the line somewhere, especially when this event is one song for an hour :P.
  15. HEY! :P I'll be well prepared this time. I'm not even getting coffee at any point before the show, and I'm going to be getting up at 5AM! After consulting my A-Z, I realise I'm actually somewhat familiar with the area...I've been there before! Not to the BBC TV Centre itself, but to that tube stop and area and everything. And I'm a freak with directions and stuff, I have like a GPS for a brain  I feel like I'm leaving enough time to get in by arriving at 10:30 (Daniel, you're still going to get there early and save a place for me? :shy:), but I can't help but be nervous...if I don't get in I will have chucked away a lot of time and money for nothing...not to mention being heartbroken :uhoh:. I know it's only one song, but it's the time and money investment that are making me the most worried.
  16. Eesh, I'm nervous :uhoh:
  17. *international population runs to Chile* :P I should go to bed anyway. My only comfort is that I know no one could get on, so I won't have 100s of pages of dashboard to go through. In my brief moments on, I had like two pages of stuff everyone posted since it went back up, and then it immediately dropped off to the last thing posted on Sunday night
  18. All I posted was "HALLE-FUCKING-LUJAH" and then it went down again. BOO.
  19. THIS WAS MY REACTION: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: and then :disappointed: :disappointed: :disappointed: :disappointed:
  20. Via Twitter: The recovering database cluster is online and healthy. We're incrementally opening up access to blogs while monitoring performance. Ugh, and there are things I need to fangirl about ASAP too...
  21. Mine just turned all white and said the same message at the top in simple black text. I just refreshed it again for fun, though, and now it won't even load that... EDIT: Oh ok, it just loaded again: That doesn't look like progress to me :P
  22. Aaaaand the page changes to something that looks like it's failed more :uhoh:
  23. I thought the same. The second it's back up everyone's going to rush in to post to complain about how boring their lives were without it and the place is going to go down again from too much web traffic. At least that's usually a temporary problem...
  24. Even major news outlets are picking up on it now: http://www.cnn.com/2010/TECH/web/12/06/tumblr.down/ http://techcrunch.com/2010/12/06/tumbled/ This is bad news bears :disappointed: I'd love to work for Tumblr in NY, though, like that second article says, and help them get up to par :whip:
  25. Today I'm just catching up with reading so I could have afforded some Tumblr procrastination, but I know it's going to come back the second I need to lock myself in the library tomorrow afternoon and I can't get my fix :bigcry:
