  1. I think they're trying to confuse everyone! I now have copies of ALL THREE - oh well, guess they figured that's what us crazy U2 fans would do!!
  2. Actually, Jeff Buckley drowned in Memphis while swimming in the Wolf River, a tributary of the Mississippi - total accident, no drugs/alcohol involved. Great loss to the music world!! I also highly recommend Grace - fantastic album.
  3. I like TMPGEncDVD Author also - you may need the TMPGEnc 4.0 Express to convert the files into an mpeg format that TMPGDVD Author will accept.
  4. BONO, BONO, BONO - when he's singing live, amazing voice. I really like Jeff Buckley also, but he was very inconsistent live - out of tune and all over the place in some live recordings. I also don't like women's voices - too many nowadays warble all over the place (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, the one that sang with U2 at the Grammys and ruined the song!)
  5. Also - if any of you Pearl Jam fans out there liked the song they did "Hawaii 78" - I ripped it off the radio station web site (actually from their Dec 2 show, not the U2 one) I love this song - here it is: http://rapidshare.com/files/7252753/Hawaii_78_Pearl_Jam_Dec_11.mp3
  6. Here's some pictures we took at the concert - 1st one is Bono just coming out to climb up on stage just before my daughter touched his shoulder.
  7. I was one of those crazy people in line! We got there about 6:30 p.m. - were number 490 & 491. We ended up right beside Adam's B-stage in the front row - my daughter actually touched Bono as he was getting up on stage. We got some great photos and videos. I'll try and upload some for you to see. We got to hear the sound check the night before - they played for about an hour, did WITS quite a few times, as well as Rocking in the Free World with Pearl Jam. Fantastic show!!
  8. Well put, my sentiments exactly.
  9. Thanks for the link..luckly it's thepart of the board I can access :) I guess I'll have to give you some more rep points!!!
  10. Window in the Skies (I think that's what its called?!) - new U2 single leaked on internet- great song
  11. Thank you for the link!! I love the new song - I hope there are a bunch more coming soon in a new album. I'm travelling to Hawaii to see U2 in December, and one of my colleagues actually said ""Who are U2??!!!" Hard to believe someone can live on this planet and not have at least heard of U2!!
  12. vertigo caz- Is there any way you could post the interview?? Do you have it saved as a file??
  13. Thanks for the link to the video clip - man that one guy is TAAALLLLLL!!! He's like 2 feet taller than Bono. I've got tickets for the Hawaii concert - will be travelling from Canada there, can hardly wait!!
  14. I guess I must have gotten quite a deal - I think I paid about $33 Canadian on Amazon.ca for the U2 by U2 book!
  15. I'm only going to my first ever U2 concert in Hawaii in December, so I don't have any personal experience, but I remember reading somewhere that they leave the concerts immediately after and don't hang around to see fans afterwards. What I read said your best chance is to hang around in the afternoon - when they arrive for soundcheck they often stop to meet and greet fans. I'm going to try, although I have to be in line with the general admission ticket, so not sure it will work! Good luck though, if you do try it!!
  16. Just FYI - Bono will be on Oprah this Friday October 13 talking about the Red Campaign!
  17. Here are the full versions of "Day in Life of Edge" - about 12 minutes each or so. These were posted on u2.com today. http://rapidshare.de/files/34576185/u2.com_Day_in_Life_part_1.asf http://rapidshare.de/files/34576183/u2.com_Day_in_Life_Part_2.asf http://rapidshare.de/files/34576182/u2.com_Day_in_Life_Part_3.asf
  18. Here are files for the first part of "Day in the Life of Edge" - the extended version shown on TV http://rapidshare.de/files/34456046/Day_in_Life_of_Edge_1A_Sep_25.flv http://rapidshare.de/files/34456045/Day_in_Life_of_Edge_Part1B_Sep_25.flv
  19. Here's the video for part 3 shown today on Yahoo: http://rapidshare.de/files/34059446/Day_in_Life_of_Edge_part_3_Sep_22.asf
  20. That's funny - I've been listening to The Unforgettable Fire a lot lately too - amazing the complexity of music they produced at such a young age. Anyway, here's part 2 of the "Day in the Life of Edge" that's on Yahoo today http://rapidshare.de/files/33932238/Day_in_Life_of_Edge_Part_2_Sep_21.asf
