  1. Eh, read here.... I'm lazy today. http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/books/amh/amh-03.htm
  2. Our independence.... After us colonists under British control helped defeat the French in the French & Indian War across various scattered parts of Canada and lower, Great Britain was deeply in debt and demanded that the Colonists pay taxes to help preserve the Empire they fought for. The Colonists were outraged over this violation of their so called, 'rights'. They began boycotting goods coming from Britain into the Colonies. I will explain this over a few posts.
  3. Hahaha....The mayflower was not at the same time we were at War with England....
  4. Freak me out? Who the hell is the Great Divider? Yes, Pearl Harbor is in Haiwaii. Should I explain that too? How about just history class in general?
  5. Nope, after. Should I explain our independence?
  6. I still have no clue what you mean.
  7. Puerto Rico was a possesion of us after defeating the Spanish in the Spanish American war.
  8. When Texans gained independence from Mexico, They became known as the 'Lone Star Republic', and not part of America, as I recall. Came up with the idea though of Americans annexing Texas so they could keep out of conflict with Mexico after gaining independence.
  9. Um, if they were from TEXAS, which was a still part of MEXICO, they were obviously MEXICAN REBELS. Is that so hard to get really?
  10. ...And Hawaii...We removed their Queen as I recall, de-throned her... And we made a deal with them to use them as a military port.
  11. We bought Alaska from Russia. France offered us the Louisiana purchase and we took it.
  12. What the fuck are you and him talking about?
  13. ...They weren't Americans than if they were MEXICAN citizens technically... :dozey: Well... we don't have that big of a rivalry. The biggest rivalry amungst college football here is within Michigan University (Ann Arbor) and Michigan State University (Lansing).
  14. With all this history talk, please click this link for a small interesting brief fact about mainly my state and another state's conflict: http://www.detnews.com/history/ohio/ohio.htm
  15. What the hell?
  16. Um, I have no clue what your talking about....
  17. But what I don't get is how they were Americans if they were Texans trying to gain' independence from Mexico. Weren't they technically part of Mexico still? Or was this American troops helping Texas gain it's independence from Mexico? One small interesting fact: Michigan at one time many years ago almost went to war with Ohio.
  18. I rule with an iron fist and a cold heart.
  19. Best thing- ? Worst thing- High School Fuckin' High school. I want to go and dance around like a savage while dumping gasoline all around the building and lighting a match. (While no one is in it keeping in mind)
  20. No, I haven't really...Or experienced love. I'm going to die alone probably goddammit!!! :(
  21. For some reason I was thinking they were Texans rebelling against the Mexicans...
  22. I'm saying that maybe not even knowing them, or being with them and feeling like you're in love with them... How could that be?
