I'll try and upload the video from my phone of them coming into the crowd when I get back to Adelaide. It's not the best looking quality, but unlike my last phone, this one seems to have handled the sound okay.

Oh and another thing which has really been bugging me is people in the crowd and the shoutouts I heard on the radio after the show only screaming "I love you Chris", "Chris is awesome" etc. There's 3 other very talented band members you know. The only time I heard one of them mentioned was "the drummer sang too". His name is Will. If you're willing to spend $140 on tickets, you should know this.

One guy near me got told off for videoing.

Sorry, didn't think to take a photo of him. Just an old-ish looking guy with silver/grey hair. Very British looking haha. Yes, I just came home from the show to answer your question in the other thread. I'm exhausted haha. I was next to the fence with the end of the runway to my direct right. Planned last night to head to that spot if I couldn't get to the front (which I got nowhere near).

I enjoyed reading your story. Very lucky girl. I love the expression on Chris' face in your pic. You're lucky you got to the front. So many bloody rude people just pushed and shoved and even when we got to our spots, people thought they could just come in late and push through to the front. Sooooo rude!!!!

You do realise that some of those were actual songs, right and not just an extension of the song? Or are you too much of a twerp to realise that?

I forgot to mention, one girl fainted before the show even started. How bad would that suck!! I was on the verge on a panic attack, I must admit. I hate crowds and I think I have a mild case of claustrophobia. Oh, and I think the setlist was the same as last nights, except they played Green Eyes instead of Speed of Sound. Oh, and Chris' dad was on the other side of the runway to me in the front row of seats. He got up in Viva La Vida and Lost I think. I wonder what he thinks of the music.

Ugh, okay so I ended up lining up for about 2 and a half hours and then have to stand through the support acts only to be miserable because I was squished so bad, the girl in front kept putting her hair in my face, her bf felt it necessary to have his arm around her the whole time and completely get in my space and touch my boobs and tall guys (who should totally be banned from the front) were in my way and I couldn't see a thing. So, after the pleasure of them being directly to the right of me when they played the few songs on the runway, my friend and I slowly made our way through the sea of people (when they play the Viva La Vida remix and everyone lights up their phones in the dark) where there was SPACE to move and breath! Sooo much better. I was dancing and I could even see way better. Anyways, can't complain but I must admit, I didn't enjoy the show before I moved to the back which gives me that awful feeling of regret. As my friend said though, if I had been at the back the whole time, I would have been saying "I could have been up there so close to them", not knowing how awful it was. You live and learn.

Surprisingly my dad is home today which means I can drive in instead of train. Woo! I'm really hoping the lining up thing is worth it. I want front row. Not sure of my chances though. Not sure how it will work with the outside doors opening an hour before the inside doors as well.

That is true. I was luckily in the back row of the front section and had a wall behind me, so I was up dancing all night. The girls next to me were as well. But I do remember looking at the crowd sitting down not even bopping their heads and thinking why the hell would you spend $140 to sit there and not even move?! It got better towards the end though.

I'm just looking at my sig. I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since they were last here. Also, is it just me, or did this show go much longer than on their last tour?? I feel like they played practically every big song plus more.

I've spent like over $1000 to come here and see them. He better think it's awesome! :laugh3:

Oh. I couldn't believe it when the guys came right near our seats on a mini stage. So lucky!!! Some guy gave Guy and Jonny a beer, so Chris gave him his harmonica. Sweet deal!

Oh no!! I wanted to wait around, but my friend needed to go home. Can't be greedy though. I was lucky enough to meet them last time. P.S I stink!!! Too much singing and dancing.

:laugh3: My friend who I took said I was the only one she could see singing GOW. It's in my top 3 Coldplay songs atm, along with Politik and Death and All His Friends, so I'm a happy girl. I really wanted some merch, but the line was too long. I may as well just get it off the website. I too, like the butterfly shirt. I at least know what it means though haha!

I hung around after the second Sydney show I went to in 06. Some bitch came out and told us they'd all gone, so a lot of people left. We hung round and Will came out later and signed autographs. I saw Jonny hiding behind a wall and I got a bit upset about that. He made up for it in Adelaide though. All of them came out after the show at the exit and signed autographs and I got a pic with Jonny that you can see in my av.

A-fucking-mazing. They played Glasses Of Water and I almost had a heart attack. They played every single song I wanted them to. Now to do it all again tomorrow. Had to plan my attack for GA. I'm going to get there around 4:30 to line up and then if I can't get to the very front before other people when we're let in, I will head to the right of the stage where they play a few songs on the little runway type thing. My hope is many people won't have been tonight and won't realise to stand there.

I've only just heard the album version for the first time so maybe I just need a few more listens, but at this point I definitely prefer the acoustic version.
