Many of the songs on Parachutes I find boring. Spies and Sparks in particular. High Speed too.

For aussie fans, Toronto gig to be shown on tv
I posted this in another thread but..... God. I'm watching the show on TV at the moment and they cut out half the freaking songs. They left out God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, How You See The World No. 2, Don't Panic, White Shadows, The Scientist, Ring Of Fire and Trouble. Grrrr. Lucky I know about this site so I could download the whole thing.

I am so mad at Chris Martin Right now
There's no reason at all to take offence to anything in the interview, even if it isn't your type of humour. Ricky Gervais is extremely funny!!! I'm an incredibly politically correct person, I get called a hippie all the time (even have two peace tattoos), but I laughed so hard I cried when I first saw this.

2007 Calendar
I bought the 2006 one. Great pics, but shit if you actually wanted to write stuff for the days, because there was no room for writing anything. Lucky I had another calendar that I could use that for.

[Petition] Bring Back Coldplay @ Toronto DVD
Signed, can't hurt but it's unlikely to make a difference.

Live from Toronto 2006 dvd
It really really doesn't make sense. Opportunity to sell millions of dvds and they throw it away. Has anyone actually tried contacting EMI themselves?

open up your eyes
Yeah ok he does have a fuel guzzling car, he may take private jet flights often....but how many celebs do this and then do nothing at all for the environment? At least he is doing a great deal of charity work unlike many many other celebs....why whinge about that?

Weird Chris and Gwyneth comparisons (article)
These magazines are a fucking waste of space. The people who read them and fall for their shit are either ignorant or extremely dumb.

Definately Square One. The feeling when the countdown begins and you see them come out is like no other on earth.

On another forum I frequent regularly. Each contestant chooses 4 songs of which the public decide which one they want them to sing. As quoted on the other forum...... Chris Murphy Something Beautiful -Robbie Williams Mean To Me - Crowded House No Tomorrow - Orson Original Fire - Audio Slave Damien Leith Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley version Never Tear Us Apart - INXS Crying - Roy Orbison You're Beautiful - James Blunt (NOOOO!) Dean Geyer I'll Be - Edwin McCain Dare You To Move - Switchfoot Savin' Me -Nickelback In The Summertime - Thirsty Merc (I don't one single one of these, but it sounds like his usual softcock rock) Jessica Mauboy Goodbye's The Saddest Word - Celine Dion Butterfly - Mariah Carey Karma -Alicia Keys We Ride - Rhianna (Way to get out of your comfort zone, Jess. Also don't know any of these, but I know already they'll be R&B screamfests featuring lots of demented budgie trilling.) Ricky Muscat Superstition - Stevie Wonder/Stevie Ray Vaughan version Baby I Love Your Way - Big Mountain version Somebody Told Me - The Killers Kiss From A Rose - Seal ('sif he could sing this) Lisa Mitchell Fix You - Coldplay Hands - Jewel Opportunity - Pete Murray Blackbird - The Beatles (More Coldplay covers to upset RG - I'd vote for that. ) I'm RG (razors girl). Notice how they like me getting upset over Coldplay on there. :laugh3:

Live from Toronto 2006 dvd
I agree with you to a certain extent, but I also think you are underestimating the power of record companies.
