Lost!

honestly coldplay plays it live alot and its on the hot 100 charts while songs like death and all his friends , cementaries of london & strawberry dont get played at all! honestly Lost! is the only coldplay song i hate because it is over done and that hiphop beat is annoying i like the Lost acoustic version though that should have been on the album

anyone feel like they love this song and its not really one of the fan favorites (i know its early but thats the hunch i'm getting)

Does anyone know what sound effects they are using for the beat track? Standard drums are no problem but what about the hip-hop style rhythm elements? I'm trying to do backing tracks for their songs but am really struggling with this one.

Woohoo! What a high I get when I unexpectedly hear my favourite band. Was watching Ugly Betty and thought I heard something wonderfully familiar and unexpected... LOST! They could've played more, but I'm a happy girl! They also played 42 at the beginning of CSI Miami. :):):)

hi, i'm trying to find the album art for Lost!. But all i can find is album art that is 400x400 max. Idealy i'd like to have a picture of the album art that's got better dimension size. Is there anyone who has a better quality picture for me, or who has the single at home and can take a quality scan or picture for me? it would be very helpful! thanks :) Pat

Yes! This song is amazing! I saw Chris perform the song at the 2009 Grammys and it was awesome (minus Jay-Z). Both acoustic and original versions are good. Not a fan of Lost!+ I love Jay-Z but he really doesn't fit the song. Others would argue otherwise..Main point, Lost! is the best song on the album.

OK, Guys, please don't lynch me...I usually bitch when ppl make these threads, but I as listening to 'Lost?' again, and I realized that you can actually sing 'What If God Was One Of Us?' along with it, and it works. I'm not accusing Coldplay of stealing it, just saying it makes a lovely seguay!!:D Try it,it works...and really well,lol!! There are so many songs out there with the same 4 chords that it can't be helped, so again, please don't take offense to this thread! Just try singing the 'God' lyrics along with 'Lost?' and enjoy the irony!!:)

This is now up on Itunes Uk and Itunes Australia. For some reason it won't allow me to download the full album, but only track by track (which is okay as I only want two of the songs).

It says on coldplay.com that it will be released on November 10th. I don't know much about this stuff, so could someone please tell me whether we already know the rest of the songs included on the EP, or is it going to come as a surprise :thinking: Are those songs going to be some of the unpublished ones ?

Which version does it for you and why? I prefer the organ heavy thumping of the album version...I love the direction they took it in and it fit so well in the #3 slot on the album...I know people claiming to be Coldplay purists prefer the simple piano of the solo version but, although a nice track to have, it doesn't convey the dynamic nature of the band at this point and to have a more piano based slimmed down version would have been a step back in terms of the direction of the album...

Very VERY different from the acoustic, extremely rich production. What do you think?
