Tomorrow's Daily Mirror (4 May 2012): Coldplay Chris' hearing torment
Yes. I was at a show during the viva tour when they would do the fan upgrades to the front row. I had my daughter with me at the time in the wayyyy back and the girl offering the upgrades said she could not move us because Chris had a fit and got really mad at her when she upgraded a family with a kid at a show before. He was very protective over kids and the loudness.

AMEX MyloXylotour VIP Package Information
I splurged on the VIP $280 tickets since it is the only show I can go to on this tour. I got extremely lucky and ended up with Row G in section 1. I would have bought a scalped ticket for this much (or close to it) and not gotten all of the freebies. I would never pay $450. It is too bad that shows are the way that bands really make money these days. And I have been to a few GA shows for CP but they were summer outdoor arena shows.

This is the only show I can make it to on this tour so I splurged for the VIP Package. I am in Section 1 Row G. Do you think that would be the 7th row? Or will they have double letter rows first??

[21-Oct-2011] Coldplay @ Today Show, Rockefeller Plaza, New York, USA
I went with my daughter and we got there around 5am. We ended up in the back by the stage & lift that Al Roker would go up and down on. We couldn't see a darn thing but they sounded great!! After it was over we went and watched the guys break down the stage. I talked to Hoppy and he gave me a guitar pick! It is cool, has MX on one side and Coldplay on the other in that MX font. My daughter really wanted her own so she got the nerve up to ask Hoppy herself and he asked her if she played guitar. She said no, she plays piano and he gave her 3 more!! We said hi to Matt & Bash as well. We saw Frank. It was neat to see them at work. We also saw some guy that I did not recognize carrying the elephant suit in clear plastic bag!! I am not sure what they were doing with the elephant suit there. I took some cool pics of the stage & equipment. I will upload and post them soon. Also on a side note.....we went to the Nintendo World after watching the stage break down and some guy in there was with his son. He told us that his wife just saw Apple at the Lego store 5 min ago so I guess they were doing some shopping while they were there.

[21-Oct-2011] Coldplay @ Today Show, Rockefeller Plaza, New York, USA
I am going but I am not camping out. I was planning on heading over between 4-5am. I am really bummed about the VIP passes. I got an email 2 weeks ago and replied right away. I figured I just didnt get them. I was out of town all week and just got home and saw they sent another one and missed it. Ugh. I will have my daughter with me who is almost 8 and was really hoping we would be close so that she can see the band. I would love to meet up with anyone who doesnt have VIP.

I loved it. The boys came out in plain clothes and played like 4 or 5 songs. Then they kept playing them a few times over and over to get the sound right. They changed and did a little acoustic set for just us and then the show. It was so great to see them play in the morning in the city with buildings and tour buses and morning bustle all around us. You got to see the anchors interview the band. I liked the feel of seeing the behind the scenes stuff....It was definitely a unique experience. Plus I met a lot of Colpldayers.

[5-Aug-2011] Coldplay @ Lollapalooza Festival, Chicago
I can not believe this is happening either. I am sick. I think I am going to have to pick Muse also for two reasons: 1. CP will be touring again soon 2. Muse is playing songs that they either haven't played in years or aren't playing again. I can't rememebr which. But then I hear Major Minus going through my head and I feel torn all over again.......

Differing Attitudes Towards X&Y
AROBTTH is my favorite album hands down. The ironic thing about saying this is that the only CP song that I can't even listen to is on it (A Whisper). I love every song other song though. Politik & Amsterdam may be my favorite CP songs ever. X&Y was good (and the tour was amazing!) but it ranks #3 to me. There are quite a few tracks that I like.......Square One, Low, Talk, White Shadows and A Message are the greats on there for me. I don't even like Fix You at all but I DO love to hear it performed live. VLV I really loved, another one that I can listen to from begining to end. LIT is just as amazing as an opener. My mother in law and husband are big fans as well and they both agree that X&Y is their favorite :) 1. AROBTTH 2. VLV 3. X&Y 4. Parachutes
