The Apprentice (UK) 2011
Didn't think Tom would win. C'mon, can you imagine Tom's nail file 2.0: Sugar's finest; or Lord Sugar's chair... or device. lol On the other hand, Lord Sugar was clearly after Tom's patents. ;) A shame that Helen disappointed with her business plan. She was amazing and should have won so I'm a bit gutted that she didn't at least got offered some sort of job although I imagine that she now really has to start her own business. The show should have given her plenty of courage.

:laugh3:

I love this book! :) Finished Nabokov's Lolita and was extremely disappointed with the story... I'm now reading Zafon's The Shadow of the Wind.

Done with Bukowski. Not sure I'll continue reading his whole Chinaski collection but Post Office certainly deserves a try. I'm now on "Death at Intervals" by José Saramago.

I join the chorus... well done do Djokovic! Was biting my nails when Nadal came back but Novak remained fairly settled in the 4th set. And yes, he so deserved it! When I went to Wimbledon about 2 weeks ago I saw Djokovic's practice and Kvitova's first round match - feel like a lucky charm right now. :laugh3:

Yessss, I'm off the to the Krauts today. ;) I generally agree with most comments. Nadal outplayed him, however, again Murray wasn't consistent enough. At the French Open he played way better and had a much better chance... but maybe this comes down to the surface? Personally I am thus a little bit disappointed with his attitude in the 3rd set. Losing the 2nd set was kinda inevitable knowing Nadal who immediately raises his game every time he gets down. But Murray took too long to recover and that cost him dearly. Easier said than done... but I don't think he gave his best in the 2nd and 3rd set. On the other hand, I strongly disagree with Andrew Castle's comment stating that Murray will never match up the top three. Djokovic has done it and both come from a very similar background and have a very similar development so I believe Murray can do the same. Maybe they should spend more time together. :laugh3: Well, I am looking forward to the final and I'm all Djokovic! :)

Precisely! Because I am busy. ... Nah, I am off to visit my parents. :P I am free, however, to watch the men's final on Sunday; so Andy better get through tomorrow! :sneaky:

Personally, I think that comment is unfair. Looing back at Nadal's history, he continued many matches despite some serious injuries. Often he carried on although he shouldn't have which eventually severely damaged his body. His claims don't come out of nowhere, and during his match against Del Potro I guess his foot just felt wrong and he got scared. But if you criticize Nadal's time out and MRI, you should also condemn Del Potro; or Murray's worry about his ankle during the French Open. And the list goes on... Well done to Tsonga and I'm glad he kicked Roger's ass. But... Go Djokovic!!! :D Good play by Sharapova!!!!!!! :) (Shame Lisicki lost her nerves...) It will hopefully be a great final between Kvitova and Sharapova although I'm not entirely sure whether I'll be able to see it.

The friend of a friend (it's true though :laugh3:) moved from Mexico to Finland to live with his Finnish girlfriend. That's dedication, I mean exchanging 365 days of summer to 6 months of darkness! :stunned:

NEID!!!! Wie lange bleibst du in New York? Schon eine Idee, was du alles sehen willst?

Totally agree! Lisicki played great but the SF against Sharapova will be tough. It already is a major success for her having progressed so far. After 12 years, she is the first German woman after Steffi Graf to reach the Wimbledon SF. I really like her whole package - strong serve, good movement, brave shots and great attitude! Hopefully she'll be able to reduce her unforced errors and we will see a stunning SF on Thursday. :) Missed Sharapova's match but the result speaks for itself. I so hope she'll get her 2nd Wimbledon title!!!! Just finished watching Azarenka and wow, she really stepped up her game! Having seen her in the first week, you wouldn't believe she even had a chance to come that far. Now it'll be a tough match between her and Kvitova. Guys, I am really enjoying the women's draw so far. haha Let's hope Andy will reach the SF tomorrow! I am sure to take a break from my dissertation to watch him play... and maybe one for Roger, Nadal and Djokovic :laugh3: Btw, when it comes to Federer vs Nadal, I am openly rooting for the Spaniard!!! ;)
