  1. I was thinking about getting it!
  2. I went to the box office, waited to get in a lottery and thought I would get decent tickets that day. Had to wake up early, 9am, to get the lottery and what a waste of time... at 12pm they let us in after having to walk around and wait forever. There were a lot of people in line before me. The first row of people in the box office took forever. It was like the cashiers did it on purpose or something. How long does a transaction take? The customers all had their cash ready. A lot of them looked like scalpers. And if they weren't, they probably were going to buy 6 tickets and sell whatever they couldn't use for way over the asking price. I overheard what section in the floor area people were getting before me and they mentioned section 6. That was already way too far for 100 bucks for me. The girl before me asked for things in the 50 range and she got something in the back of the stadium in the 300 level! After three people, when they finally got to me there was almost nothing left. What a waste! I also found out that the only $50 tickets were in the back at the 300 level. You can't even see there and that is all they were selling for $50 dollars! The side 300 level were being sold for 70+ bucks. Are you kidding me? I felt like were were mislead with prices. Coldplay should of just made everything 77 or 100 bucks. And I think that is still overpriced! But, it didn't matter, because when I finally got to ask for tickets even in the 200 level, she said there was nothing left. At the end, when I told her to keep checking then she kept saying that all that was left was behind the stage! What!? I don't want to pay 50 to not see there faces and have the speakers in front of me. Anyways, I was dissapointed once again. I hate waiting for tickets and then being disappointed. This already happened to me once before with them. Anyways, I ended up not buying any tickets and being really disappointed. What is sad is that I am a true fan and it doesn't look like I am going to go to the concert now. I almost can't believe it. Coldplay should not be a band that only is for the elite. And why did they sell out so fast? Probably because they market themselves so much now! I didn't even have a chance to even get any decent seat because they sold out so fast. I go to other concerts in the year other than them, so they are not the only band I spend music on. They should understand that since they love music as much as I do. I am just surprised they don't offer more tickets at more affordable prices. I can't believe everyone will be able to afford them. And the next time they come, how much will they be asking then? The only thing I have to look forward to is their cd that is coming out this week. That I will buy, 3/4 of the rest of the people probably won't. (Okay I really don't know that! :)) Sorry I am just a little annoyed with them right now. And I really don't get annoyed when I buy other concert tickets.
  3. Oh, I wish I could know...I might just have to check it out tomorrow. I just get scared that depending on how long it takes...if I will still be able to get a good seat vs going to a ticketmaster office where there may not be as many people. If they blocked off seats at the box office, that would be great.
  4. Thanks so much for the info... Yah, the only time I have gotten 300 seats was for an Andrea Bocelli concert, but they were not on the sides, but in the back. I remember barely being able to see anything. I am going to try and shoot for the 200 level...I hope they have some for around 50 dollars. Yah, they won't be sitting down, that is why I don't know if I think it is worth it to pay all that money if I am not going to get really close seats. Do you know if you get the tickets at United Center tomorrow, if you have a better chance of getting good tickets?
  5. Hi again... I was wondering what the best seats are if I am looking in the 200-300 level? I also wanted to know how well you can see on the floor if you are not in sections 1, 2 or 3 towards the front. I am not tall, but because there are seats, is there more room to see between or above heads? Any info would be great before they sell them tomorrow! :)
  6. That is why he said he needed to become a rocks star. :)
  7. Haha...it is kind of funny...I thought of the song, "what if" as well as I read the article. I feel like his life is full of "What ifs..." It kind of describes him to a T. He's always worried about something...
  8. I noticed that when I listen to UK radio online... why is it that they have the same exact news? They should change it up at least a bit. I have kind of learned to block it out though.
  9. Yah, I would have probably been mad if the accused me of being sexist...but the morbid part...not so much... I mean some of their previous songs have been on the more depressing side... some... I haven't heard the new album so I can't talk though...
  10. :laugh3:
  11. :laugh3:
  12. I'm excited for all of you!
  13. That's pretty cool... Did they ever merge SIRIUS with XM Radio?
  14. I would tell you if I had access. :veryangry::cry::) <--mood swings :D
  15. I would be jealous too! :) I wanna go back and visit the UK.
  16. "Third, how much I've always winced, listening to Martin in interviews, thanks to his lame attempts at kooky humour, and that it was a relief in some ways that he'd walked out." :laugh3: You have to admit, Chris does get kooky in his interviews. He usually looooves to stray off topic. It cracks me up though. I wonder why he is under so much pressure...
  17. I thought that was pretty cool when they were going to possibly play Miami...not everyone does
  18. Those pictures are great. She looks so natural. I hope I look like that too. That is great that she is for O'bama. I am glad that she feels the same about the "Clinton monarchy." We need someone new. He is from Chitown too! :) There is always a lawsuit for everything, isn't there...
  19. is there anyway I can unblock a site?...I am able to get to the site, but can't get to the realplayer part. :( aww...I loved it when I could hear online radio hear at work.
  20. That was exactly my thoughts!:laugh3: He's like, "there goes Chris again... I am here to save the day."
  21. Yah, I don't mind it...it probably would just surprise me, I'd be a bit shoked and then it would make me laugh. I mean it also depends on how mean the person interviewing got. But, having to do with Chris, it is kind of funny. I still have to hear it. Poor Will though...he must of felt very awkward.
  22. Hahaha...I loooooove awkwardness! This is going to be a treat when I get home! :)
  23. gvargas replied to mazizco's topic in Coldplay
Don't forget "lost"... and fixing things
  24. ^huh? did this really happen? How come I am not too surprised that it could have occured?
  25. Can't wait to hear it when I get home...that is cool if you can save it too.
