I didn't know there were size jokes between Croatia and Slovenia, but it figures LOL And to be honest, I wouldn't know where it was, and people DON'T know where it is when I tell them I'm part Slovenian. US education sucks when it comes to geography and knowing things about other countries. I will admit myself that I suck when it comes to Middle East geography. Europe, Latin American, no problem. Naci en Argentina, pero nos mudamos a USA cuando tenia 8 años. Asi que creci aca, y ahora estoy mas acostumbrada a hablar en ingles, ¡pero nunca me voy a olvidar el español! No podria comunicarme con mis parientes en Argentina jaja;) I feel sometimes that everyone I know knows another Noelia. And I've NEVER EVER met another one. I work night-shift, and unfortunately do not have that night off. But it's ok, not too bummed out, if not I think I'd just be stuck at my parents watching TV.:rolleyes: You're in Spain, right? What do you guys do on New Year's? Any special traditions??? My roommate is from the Philippines, and they have to have 12 or 13 ROUND fruits for New Year's. Don't necessarily have to eat them, but it's tradition to have in the house. Which is really funny, since she's not a fruit person, so then we end up throwing them out a few days later when they go bad.

I will be at my parents on New Year's Day. NYE never felt like a family holiday, before this job I'd go out with friends or to someone's party, so it doesnt' really bother me. It's not too terrible, we don't get that much work, and then around midnight we take a long break together; we all bring food and have a little party.:) I'd much rather be in Paris, but you know...:rolleyes:LOL this is exactly how I felt...I know this is not "literature," but it is fun, an escape. Now I gotta wait until the next movie comes out..so it'll be me and 15yr old girls :blush: LOL Ok missy, shouldn't you be getting to sleep?!?!? yea, since it's at night, new year's eve we work, New Year's DAy (and that night) we're off. But I have friday night off...so long weekend.:dance: Shit! I just remembered I made plans w/ a friend for dinner on Friday evening. DAMN. LOL real life getting in the way of coldplaying! I dunno why, once in a blue moon the characters get to you, like if they were ppl you knew, so when you're done reading you're like "ohh i wonder what they're up to now?"
