  1. :laugh3: You know, that's exactly what I thought of when I first saw that pic...I was gonna comment on it...but that was when I was thinking more rationally:rolleyes: Right now I'm in total crazy fangirl mode(and starting to get after-show-withdrawal:\) You should make that pic your avi! It's perfect size, and you should show off:idea2::P (and put your current pic in your siggy, so we can all still see it when you post:D...it's such a good one:wink:hehe)
  2. Yeah, watch out...:beadyeyes::rolleyes4: Actually, you're safe, as long as you say Will is the greatest:wink: and NEVER stand in my sight line of Will at a show. Then we're cool.<pinch>:happy: BTW I updated my post in the Will thread:wink:
  3. Christa...how the fuck did you take a pic of that London sign while driving?!?! i've tried and always fail LOL I just re-watched the GPASUYF vid I took...and I just realized that I barely sang to it or Talk(and GPASUYF in one of my faves ever!):embarassed:. I didnt even look at the other band members....it was all WILLLLLL:shocked2::bomb::sweatdrop::wacky: I seriously have a problem:shame:hehehe <runs back to watch VH&VLV vid again:wacko:>
  4. :blush: Seriously, I cannot NOT look at it!!!:bomb: Especially in that pic...it's all I see:dead: And in the VLV vid, you can tell I can hardly stand still...and my stupid camera doesn't zoom more while in vid mode:angry: and came out all blurry! If had a videocam I'd be zooming like ccrrzzzy :P
  5. Ok I'm just rewatching my own vids and SQUEEing like a nut!!!:laugh3: I fucking looove Violet Hill. just want to say that....
  6. Ok ok...go take a look...and I'll just edit to add the Will sign story:rolleyes:
  7. Ok here are some goodies for the Willuvers:D I posted a massive huge review in the show's thread, so if you wanna read go there, but if you wanna just see Will pics:wink3:.... Most came didn't come out so great:\, I just don't have steady hands, but I'm sure you'll appreciate it nonetheless... And a couple of vids, to appreciate the man in action:wink3::drummer: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8_meOqXRsQ]YouTube - Coldplay--Violet Hill Live at All Points West[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doKLdaY4Z8c]YouTube - Coldplay Viva La Vida Live at All Points West[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcw8XGJ7HZM]YouTube - Coldplay--God Put a Smile...live at All Points West[/ame] (sorry it's so shaky, I kinda lost it and had major fangirl meltdown:laugh3::blush: I was like OMG:shocked2::bomb::sweatdrop::dead: My camera didn't do a good job, but I wasn't watching through it anyway, I was watching him LIVE w/ my very own eyes!!!!:wacky::heart:I stopped filiming during Talk, just so I can enjoy the moment:sneaky::wink3:) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6JOAqOiMv8]YouTube - Coldplay Death Will Never Conquer Live at APW[/ame] I hate that the stupid camera man didn't shoot them from the front...hello, I'd like to see the face of the person singing!:rolleyes: Anyway, my vids aren't too good when I try to zoom in, but the sound is great, and for DWNC it's the important part! Ok so I mentioned before about Will seeing the bday sign:D:dance: Here you can see Denise(Iriden)making it...I basically shoved the marker&paper I'd brought and said "DO IT":whip: I held it up during the beginning a lot, especially during IMP, since the audience is nicely lit up, and I could tell Chris noticed it. At that point I thought "well hopefully later he'll tell Will--you know some crazy girl had a sign for your bday":lol: But then Denise took the sign, and at the end of Death And All His Friends, I knew they'd come up for the bows, so I (again:shame:)yelled at her "HOLD IT UP NOOOWWWW!!!:whip:. :laugh3:I'm sorry about being so bossy, but it totally worked:smug::dance: 'cause he saw it and made a little nod and had THE BEST smile:D. That made the whole damn long muddy rainy cranky day worth it!!! I basically went through all kinds of crap, literally, just for that moment.:heart::wacky: And now, like a fangirly geek, I'm just watching my vids over&over:blush:
  8. ^hold on....give me a minute:p
  9. Awww Christa! hmmm I wonder what you'll post:thinking: gonna go into the Will thread to post all I got of him<fangirl> even the mostly blurry ones:P :escaping:
  10. :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry: :hug::kiss: I called Joe during SS, so I was thinking of you somewhere back there:cry:, with Joe on the phone, trying to share the experience...the first time I've heard this song and been sad, instead of uplifted:\--though it sounded great and I did enjoy seeing Guy on the drums:wink3: And really, we all looked like crap...but you looked so cute with your curly hair:nice:, you were like Chrissy's twin!:D YES, we did!!!:dance: It was so nice meeting you:nice:....and your Will karma continues, since he saw the sign while you were holding it!!!:thumbsup: (and sorry if I got all bossy on you to MAKE THE SIGN & HOLD IT UP!!!! :blush: Coldplay brings it out in me!) Enjoy the rest of your Coldplay shows in the US! See you at Wembley!:wink: Aww you guys didn't take the 1:42 train!?!:wacky: Glad you guys made it home safe!:hug: This video is awesome!!!! Totally gave me goosebumps....captures same feeling of being there!!!:D Thanks for posting!! To be honest this wasn't my favorite show, but it of course can't totally suck when it's Coldplay! I'm going through some sad emotions right now from having to write that review&relive it.<withdrawal symptoms> What? Your's was great--captured it all in a concise manner! and not super long like mine:rolleyes::embarassed:
  11. My review is finnnnallly done!:dance: In case you're curious:wink:
  12. WARNING--super duper long review ahead!!!! This was a very educational experience for me. Things learned: 1) I fucking HATE rain&mud. 2) Festivals are NOT my thing. 3) Rain boots can be lifesavers:lol: 4) People can be assholes in the pit 5) I will go through ANYTHING to see Coldplay 6) Will Champion's smile can cure any aches/pains/bad moods:D So I had to go into NYC to meet up with Sarah(SwallowedinSea) and Denise(Iriden) and their sibling/friends, and I got totally soaked just walking 1 block. (Cooky is already wet&cranky and only just started out!:rolleyes:) One my way though, I had a small miracle happen when I was able to buy one of the last 2pairs of rain boots in the store:dance:(and on sale!). I thought I'd feel stupid wearing them, but OHMAGAWD were they absolutely necessary once we got to LibertyStPark! I also picked up some glow sticks:wacky: and bright paper to make signs.... We made it to LibertySTPark by 2ish, and then had to wait for HRS&HRS right outside the entrance, in the pouring rain:dozey:. Our ponchos all looked lovely, btw:P. Just walking from train station to that spot, our feet were totally covered in mud:sick: So they tell us that a big storm w/ "60miles/hr wind is on its way, and they can't let us in because it could be dangerous with the lightning. But there's no problem if we stand outside the gates&wait, in the same open area where we could just as likely get struck by lightning:rolleyes:. I think Sarah was right when she commented that they probably don't wanna get sued if someone walks in and gets struck by lightning once you crossed the gates.:dozey: After a hr or so, it stopped raining, and the sky cleared up. We could actually see the sky and sun after a while:stunned::D. I had to borrow Sarah's sunglasses!:cool: But still they made us wait for about 2hrs until finally letting us in to the mud pit that was APW. (That was totally fucked up and really disorganized, we never saw lighting or thunder, just rain, that whole time). Sarah&Denise&I headed directly to the main stage where Silversun Pickups was already playing. We slowly made our way closer&closer to the front through the gigantic puddles of mud no one wanted to stand in:lol:. By the time Elbow came on( FANfuckingTASTIC btw :thumbsup:) we were up to the barrier that separated us "normal people" from the VIP pit. So we weren't really front row due to that, but as front as we could get on Guy's side(Jonny's side didn't have that reserved aread for VIPs, but I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get anywhere close to front if we tried going in that direction) As we waited, and "enjoyed" Echo&theBunnymen:rolleyes:(the singer was totally outta his mind on something, he practically stopped singing to yell at a roadie at one point, while wearing a winter overcoat:thinking:) I put Denise and Sarah to work making signs:whip::P A "Warning Sign" one, and a "Happy belated Birthday Will" sign. Christa and Erica(halokiti) didn't arrive until around 6ish/7, but I told them to make their way to the front, and started waving the signs so the could find us. Unfortunately, they only made it up to just a few people behind us:(. This one total asshole buttfaced jerk:angry: was like "oh no, noooo way," when we were like "can she pls squeeze in and join us?" (Christa is like barely 5ft tiny little thing, he wouldn't even have noticed if she was in front of him!:dozey:) This totally pissed me off, and kinda ruined my mood, 'cause I really really wanted the other girls with us, in particular Christa:nice:. Watching Coldplay with other coldplayers, who are dear friends, is THE BEST, and when you can't....:bigcry: It's just not the same. Ok so we have our signs ready, I pass around the glow sticks to Sarah&Denise and some nice people around us:)(just 'cause there was that one asshole, doesn't mean I gotta be one too--spread some good karma;))and get the camera ready. SQUEEEEE. (It was so funny when Sarah&Denise&I started screaming and jumping when we heard U2&JayZ--people were probably like WTF:inquisitive:.) Then...it's ON, baby! Hearing LiT come on I still get those "ohmyGodit'sColdplay:shocked2:" chills:wacky:. They were just great great GREAT, so much energy, all smiles the whole night!:dance: I missed hearing GoW & CoL, and for me the show just flew by!!!:( I couldn't see too well in the beginning, 'cause for the first few songs everyone in the VIP pit were just holding up their cameras, so I couldn't see shit:dozey:, but after a while it seems they calmed down a bit and started to just enjoy the show. I can't judge how the crowd was, but it seems like most were enjoying themselves--though not quite as much as us cpers:lol: jumping and yelling and arms(and glow sticks) in the air--but it's not the same as being at a Coldplay show, where everyone is a fan and the Viva chants just start up spontaneously...but oh well. I tried holding the Will sign during IMP, and I'm sure I caught Chris trying to read it--I figured if Chris sees it, maybe he'll go at the end of the show and tell him "hey some crazy girl wishes you a happy bday":P. But when they did the bow after DAALHF, Denise had the sign and I was like HOLD IT UP, NOW!!!!!:whip: and he totally saw it:D:dance: and had the best smile!!!! That totally made my night:wacky: It totally erased the exhaustion from standing all day in the mud:sick:, and the disappointment of Christa&Erica getting so close to us butnot being able to quite reach us:cry: So yeay for Will:heart::D<fangirl> Politik, The Scientist, and the butterflies during LiJ gave me chills.:D The Beastie Boy cover was sooo...Chris.:lol: It was sweet, and kinda corny in it's mellow piano version, but great! Jonny was awesome, totally rockin' all night!:guitarist: during VH & 42 I all of a sudden become a total fangirl and squeee like crazy:wacko:. Guy was very smiley--AND YES CHRISTA, Guy does smile:P. I know everyone complains about Chris's hair, and yes in the beginning it's all pouffy and starting to get like scary late-Twisted Logic tour heights:stunned:, but when he gets all sweaty&really curly he looks totally adorable! Ok, as for none fangirly opinion--he was fanfuckingtastic, sounded great:D and I loved him acknowledging our long wait in the mud to see them. And Will....well he was kicking drum's ass as usual:drummer:(and I won't go on, I'll save my fangirly-ness for the Will thread :blush:) Overall...it was quite the experience:rolleyes:. Don't think I'd repeat it again(but then I always say things like this, and then a show comes up and I just can't say no:P). I much rather just go to a Coldplay only show, though, I never ever have had problems w/ people's attitudes there. Coldplay fans are the best:smug: The guys were awesome, as always, no matter the venue, time, place. Their music is like magic---I'd had a migraine for days before this, crappy mood due to the long day, but they come on and it's totally erased.:D Only bad thing was not being together with all my friends, but there'll be more shows in the future....:D Some pics: (sorry I went on&on:blush: but this is what I'm infamous for!:P)
  13. Well not the content, just the quality :P I'm writing review now, it'll be long--I dunno how to do a short one w/out any details:laugh3:, so that's why I won't be around for a bit.
  14. Hey Cresty:nice: No not sad(people in Lounge post like crazy, cough cough:wink:), just surprising. How are you, how was your weekend? edit: Antonia!:hug: I'm ok...I was so so exhausted, I don't think I even changed positions on the bed---I fell asleep and woke up in the same spot, slept 8hrs in one straight shot. I think that cured my headache for good!<relief!> I got vids, already posted in the APW thread, but uploading pics now(took so many, but only a few reallly good ones), and gonna start writing a review soon...did you read Christa's? It's great:nice:
  15. :curtain: What? Nobody home?!?:uhoh: This is the first time I had to dig around on 2nd page to find this place:stunned:
  16. uhhh:uhoh:I'm totally blanking out on that:stunned:.... I'm a baad coldplayer:shame:, I'm sorry:cry: (but I wanna say yes...maybe:inquisitive:) edit: Can I offer some videos to make up for it?:embarassed::idea2: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8_meOqXRsQ]YouTube - Coldplay--Violet Hill Live at All Points West[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcw8XGJ7HZM]YouTube - Coldplay--God Put a Smile...live at All Points West[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doKLdaY4Z8c]YouTube - Coldplay Viva La Vida Live at All Points West[/ame] (this one is just basically a blurry Will:blush:) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdV90ntOQDU]YouTube - Coldplay--Green Eyes ALL POINTS WEST[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6JOAqOiMv8]YouTube - Coldplay Death Will Never Conquer Live at APW[/ame]
  17. Was at AllPointsWest tonight...Mr. Champion was smokin:pimp2:':sweatdrop::bomb: I tried to take lots pics, haven't even looked yet to see what I go, but I will definitely bring any good ones in here:D We made a "Happy belated Birthday, Will" sign, and he TOTALLY saw it and smiled so brightly:heart: It totally made my night!!!!:D:dance: Every show I go to only makes me a bigger Willuver:bomb:, it's gonna become a problem!:P
  18. Will do a proper review later...and post pics&vids(I did it for most of the show:rolleyes: so something good has to come out of that!) But for now I'll say, as cranky as I was at some(lots)of moments....the long wait in the rain and then disgusting mud was all worth it! :D I guess this really does mean I'll go through anything for Coldplay!:P And I think someone already mentioned it:thinking:, but it was same setlist as Montreal; meaning usual setlist but NO Glass of Water or Cemeteries of London:cry: and instead of The Hardest Part, the Beasties' song.
  19. :bomb::sneaky::bomb: :escaping:
  20. :shocked2:how daaare you?!?!:whip::angry: I just like to be clean. Why can't I enjoy my music in dry/clean shoes, with make-up intact?!:cool::laugh3: Don't give her any ideas:rolleyes: I read that on Friday one band was throwing mud AT audience:stunned:. Even if it's Will fucking Champion himself doing it....I wouldn't like that. Unless he's gonna come over and wipe it off:wink3:(ok, too early for perviness:thinking::blush:) Ok, I think it's time to quit bumming around and actually get dressed! Will tweet ya later...and come back tonight with pics&vids:D :escaping:
  21. Thank you:kiss: Will do, boss:thumbsup: That's not funny:dozey: :censored:rain...is it because a bunch of Brits are playing?!? Did they bring their rainy weather with them?!?!:angry::inquisitive: I always have wanted to go to Glastonbury, though:P. but instead of of the countryside, we get NYC skyline:wacko:
  22. Thank you:nice: I'm already up, after only about 4hrs of sleep:bigcry: and I wake up to RAIN:angry:. Yuck it's gonna be alll muddy:\--I'm so not the girl for this....give me a nice enclosed arena...
  23. Buenas noches, Lore:kiss: Check tweeter tomorrow:wink: Joe, I think I'm gonna follow Lore's example...and head to bed&TV. Hope your friend calls you and you end up doing something fun, or just chill at home and have fun as well hehe.<pinch>:kiss:
