i have the funniest conversations on IM... my friend (10:44:14): oh anna your so obssed with coldplay! me (10:44:26): yeah, in case you havent noticed!!!!!!!!!!!! me (10:44:33): i'm very obsessed my friend (10:45:13): but they're sooooooo random me (10:45:28): hey!! who are you calling random!! my friend (10:45:37): coldplay me (10:45:38): what the heck do you mean??! my friend (10:46:03): they are a random band and not a lot of people know about them my friend (10:46:13): well scratch that my friend: (10:46:39): people will know like 2 songs from them me (10:46:48): so? does that mean i shouldnt like them? my friend (10:47:03): I'm just say'in me (10:47:33): it is true, nobody likes coldplay. but i love them. so this conversation is .... kind of pointless. this conversation started because she noticed my coldplay buddy icon.

You make a good point. But if it was me, I'd want people to know that it was Coldplay. And maybe that particular foreign exchange student doesn't know Coldplay too well... I think there are Coldplay fans in every country.

I sure would have. But I'd rather not sink to his level. I'm so confused... what makes people think Coldplay is gay? Is it because they sing a lot of songs about love and stuff? But isn't it rather obvious that they are singing to girls...? The people who don't sing about liking girls, they are the ones that might possibly be gay.

I sure will. Or i just don't date them. A lot of the boys I know are pretty dumb anyway.
