  1. Wow, it's been a while since i've been on here....but i couldn't think of a more appropriate place to bring this up! I definitely miss coldplaying.... anyways, um, I think that i might meet paul mccartney, and not just in passing but actually possibly have dinner and or a full length conversation with him and for some reason I am FREAKING out...I don't know what to say!!! I don't want to go all "you're a living legend" on him but clearly he's not just any old guy I meet...what would you guys say??
  2. HAHAHA, the guy singing along is too funny... I wish i saw thom perform that though. it's one of my favorite thom solo songs (and has been in my signature for like a year haha).
  3. haha was it a skinny asian girl? i think i saw them while i was leaving. but thats awesome, and unbelievably cool about thom and nigel, where did you go? (other side of roseland? around the block?) my night was still great even though everybody says second night's always better. i try to block that out because i could only go monday. and i showed up in line around 3:30 and had a spot as about the 4th or 5th person back from rail which was awesome! overall i think it was one of the greatest shows ive ever been to.
  4. you say it was better the second night mike? why so? or just your spots..
  5. :sad2:
  6. HE'S PLAYING FOG!!! why not yesterday thom WHHYYYYY
  7. oopsie. typically out of the loop
  8. my video! it was magical. PS, dont know if you guys heard but a manhole exploded right in front of roseland today, caused a huge commotion/delay, afp just went on 20 minutes ago. http://gothamist.com/2010/04/06/manhole_explosion_on_west_52nd_stre.php "Some buildings were evacuated because extremely high levels of carbon monoxide were measured and Broadway between 50th and 54th were shut down. And a tipster writes, "Atoms for Peace, Thom Yorke's side project, is playing at Roseland tonight and the crowd of people that won't move" because they "have been waiting on line to get in since early this morning."

No not generally it isn't but i find myself physically feeling much better when i just stick to fish (no i'm not a vegetarian, i'm a pescetarian..) (And take no offense at the crazies part, i have plenty of veggie friends :P)
  10. ^AGREED i cant sleep..
  11. ^fully agree, plus abbey road is my favorite beatles album :P I think music has always been as real to me as it is now. i grew up listening to pink floyd aaaalll the time, when I was a baby and my mom couldn't deal with me crying any more my dad used to take me for 2 hour drives in his car with the wall or dark side of the moon on repeat. when i was about 11 though (when i came to coldplaying, ha, ha, oh god i can't believe its been this long) i started discovering more bands that appealed to my musical tastes.
  12. I loooove Silvio Rodriguez. (Dont know whats up with the video but listen to it.) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok_wnW9YBrE]YouTube- Silvio Rodríguez. Ojalá[/ame]

    MEAT
  16. gotcha. i'll be sure to. (i can't get on atease at the moment which is becoming increasingly annoying.)
  17. This thread feels oddly personal. :whaaat:
  18. yeah just monday cause concerts on school nights get a little crazy for me, two in a row would be quite stressful. How do you know he's in lower manhattan? like soho or east village-ish? (thats what i'd imagine, he loves soho, thankfully i'll probably spend the day there saturday :D) you were in the city? i thought you lived there.
  19. this article's pretty funny. oh hey, did you guys know that some of us teenagers are actually quite happy people, confident enough to make our own choices?
  20. double post.. PS the saitama vids are mindblowing, there are some pretty good HD ones on youtube.
  21. AHHHHH ONLY 5 DAYS LEFT. Mike I'm totally with you on the trying to meet Thom thing, looks like we've gotten a bunch of good tips and questions. so he's in new york already? it would be impossible to find him of course but figuring out what hotel he's in could be fantastic...you say you've looked around the place, i'll probably do that this weekend-hows the parking situation? (partly because i'm driving there, partly because the whole prius thing is helpful too). Sadly I only get out of school at 3:15, can get into the city by 4. (might be able to ditch last period though, giving me an extra hour. we'll see.) in any case i am beyond excited......
  22. smart about checking out the place on monday... unfortunately i can only make it to one night, going to a concert two school nights in a row would be veeery difficult. and yes i went on ticketmaster saturday morning at precisely 10:00:00 AM and was very proud of myself when they didn't sell out before i could type in those stupid verification words. I AM SO EXCITED....
  23. i heard you got tickets to both nights mike! i'm going on monday! planning on meeting thom i see??
  24. I know this is a really long shot but does anybody have tickets for MSG they are willing to part with??? (at least two together)
  25. ^Seconded... PS, is there not a thread for him already? What a brilliant man..
