nah you didn't, i'm all for telling people and being an activist about this as well. ;) just....those other animals go through things that are just as bad if not worse.

But honestly, you really think it's just lobster that go through pain when being killed for food? There are endless websites that talk all about the unimaginably cruel ways animals are killed, from geese with tubes being shoved down their throats to fatten them up for foie gras (the tubes sometimes rip their throats and stomachs and they die a slow and painful death of internal bleeding), to pigs which are hung upside down and beaten senseless. Did you knwo pigs have the brain capacity of 3-year olds? What about those chickens who dumped into vats of chemicals WHILE THEY ARE STILL ALIVE to get their feathers scolded off? You might be shocked by what you can dig up. It's amazing how ignorant people are of this because the factory farms cover it up so well. http://goveg.com/factoryFarming.asp

My comment is.... don't try to enforce vegetarian views on people. They don't really care. It's not heartless of them... it's just the way the food chain is. (I however am a vegetarian myself.)
