Yes exactly, I am aspiring to move to Toronto once I am done school. My previous place was $370 a month, but that was sharing the house with 4 other people upstairs and 5 others downstairs. To give you an idea of what studen ghetto I am talking about! It was a mess. And the landlord of course raised the rent the year that we moved out, so now it's like over $400 for a dumpy place. And in my apartment, which I am sharing with the boyfriend, I am paying a little under $500, and the difference is huge.

Well Doctor: I have had several symptons of sickness lately. I napped today for a couple of hours and now I am too alert to go to bed. Which means tommorrow I will be very tired at my 830am class.

Really... hmm... I guess Montreal has lower rent prices. I heard that Ottawa is very expensive, and Toronto (of course) is also very expensive. My situation was that I really needed to get away from the student ghetto that is around the two universities in Waterloo, so I moved a decent distance away from school, and I don't regret paying so much for a nice place without any student issues or noise.

Yah, I live right in downtown, which in a small city like Kitchener is not bad in terms of bring busy. I mean we have a hospital and fire station up the street, but there arent too many people around at night. And the view is great. How big is your one bedroom? In terms of sq feet, that seems really cheap to me.

I dont think they were prepared for this weather at all. Note - Ive been sick for the past week, it might be due to the crazy weather, or my cat. :0

Yah, I am going through some tough time right now too, speaking of renewing leases. The rent is going up at my place to $1044 for a one bedroom and den in Kitchener. Which they think is a 'modest increase' from $995. Its a really nice apartment, but it was too expensive when we first moved in and now its bordering on impossible. So we are looking for another place as well. I hate moving more than anything. How much is your place if you dont mind me asking.

I know what you mean about freezing rain today. I had to work in the morning and wore heeled boots (as I have been doing all winter) and didn't take an umbrella with me so my morning was quite interesting. I had a hood on my winter coat, so it wasnt too bad. But I almost fell over a couple of times manuveing through the icey sidewalks.

Well... I think we knew each other a year before he moved in with me and my bitchy roommates when I was in 3rd year of university. Now, we have been living alone together since April of last year (at which point we knew each other 2 years). So now we've known each other for almost 3 years, it will be in April anyway. It's kind of confusing because we had met on the internet, where we spoke (on the phone as well) for 4 months before meeting, so it seems like we've known each other for much longer.
