Kitchener... if its your kind of thing, we have Oktoberfest, which is a german festival that takes place here, mainly just an excuse to drink a lot and eat german food, lots of Polka music as well. I dont spend too much time in Kitchener/Waterloo, I drive to Toronto for something to do.

Yah, I saw it posted a review of it in the 'rate the last movie you saw' thread. I thought it was predictable and a bit cheesy. I saw it because I love Scarlet. But yah, Topher is a promising actor.

I would have to say that the drive home from a show is terrible because its always a pain to get out of the city. But once you get on the highway its fine, most of the time, unless they close a lane down, which has happened to be before and then it takes double the time to get home. We usually park the car at Yorkdale Mall and subway it down to the venue and walk the rest. We should definitely get a meet up of all the Toronto and area people on this board that go to the same shows, that would be cool.

Today was so uneventful, I dont want to go to sleep.

I always go with my bf, since we like the same music. But it would be nice to have some other people, makes it more fun. I am about hour an a half from Toronto, but I dont mind the drive to see cool shows.

She is a wonderful actress. There has been rave reviews of 'Million Dollar Baby'.

Its just her bone structure, she is very masculine looking. Ever since 'Boys Dont Cry' I dont think she has had one feminine role.

And she still looks like a man in a dress... :)

The show in Toronto was awesome, the one opener was terrible though, Sons and Daughters.

I always get there early for shows, I dont remember what time we got there at, but we were waiting in line outside for a couple of hours, we saw Interpol sound-checking. And unfortuntely didnt make it out for the edge performance because we were in line. I need to find a group of friends to go to shows with. Although I dont know many people that listen to the music I listen to. Where are you from?

There are more dates expected in March, nothing has been announced yet however. They missed many cities in the US as well, and it is a North American tour, so I suspect there will be a Toronto date. As for the Docks, I was up close too, how close were you? I was say 4th row.

Me too, I didnt realize that there would be an arrivals show... I usually dont watch these things, they are just awful.

I am over them breaking up and it doesnt really matter to me what happens now.. we should all move on with our lives.

Bowling for Columbine 7.8/10 I bought the dvd today and watched it. This was another Michael Moore documentary, this time on gun control, the Columbine school shooting and Americans general fascination with having a gun at home. I liked the comparisons with Canadians, how we don't lock our front doors and then though we have 7 billlion gun bearing people in our country, we still don't shoot each other just because we see a threat.
