My mom needs to go out and date now that my dad is not in the picture anymore.He still has high hopes that they will get back together... not a chance. I think he is going to move back to Poland because he feels like he has nothing left here. Umm.. you have your kids. Since the split, he doesn't pay any attention to us, he used to give me money all the time, now nothing. I think my mom made him feel responsible though and guilty about it and now he is talking about sending me and my sister to the Carribean, but I doubt that it will actually happen.

Yah, my parents separated this year... they were going through some bad shit with my dad's alcoholism..blah blabh, you've heard the story before. I don't have any kind of relationship/friendship with my mom, we've never really been too close (except that pre high school stage). My sister is a reckless, she is the total opposite of me, she was dating at 14, going to parties, etc.. my mom didn't know how to deal with it since she had it so easy with me. And my mom has no emotional side either, she just hides it in, I don't think she has ever said that she loves me...ever.

I think my bf (ex-bf I dont know what to call him now) went to the gym after work.

To start, I would suggest Kid A or OK Computer... it isn't getting into the really obscure albums and starting out with the best they had.

Maybe it has something to do with the crappy job that my parents did raising me and my sister. I don't want to be like them and damage people like that... Although my sister is the opposite, she doesn't want to make the same mistakes IF she has children, and I am sure she won't. I just think you have to be absolutely ready for kids, financially, emotionally all of that and some people are not.

Thanks. I am too selfish of a person to have to deal with children. They are pesky.. I pretend that I like them in social situations, but inside.. I just want to.... nevermind. :rolleyes:

It is completely worth it.. I am hoping that mine works out in the end. But the emotions are killer.
