probably because of the whole meeting Travis deal and everything on thursday and friday but..it's really nice to actually feel good for a change...

Oh, I'll post the finished version that i gave to fran (i changed some of the wording around a WEE bit) :) Here it is: A Lad Named Fran There once was a lad named Fran. He had brown hair, but no tan. He was in one of the greatest bands. And he lived in one of the greatest lands. And one day I came up with this plan. That I was going to meet this incredible man. So while I was banging some pots and pans I had decided I’d take a stand. And when I saw them live, I’d drive there in my van. And it would happen, just as they were playing “Quicksand”. I’d run up on stage and shake his hand. And I would tell him that he’s the greatest fucking man. And that I was a VERY big fan. And that my name was Aman…da…hmmm? -Amanda Kemp

:lol: :D :lol: :blush: :D :lol: It WAS amazing! everything I wanted to say and do when I met them, i did it..wow..absolutely no regrets at all..I'd have to say the best part was when Dougie told fran that I had written the poem and Frans eyes like, popped out of his head, and he was like "OMG, YOU"RE AMANDA?!!! and he ..shook my hand as if he were meeting someone that HE admired..and he just starred at me smiling like mad and talking to me about the message board and finding me on there and..*sigh*.. I was soooooo frigging HAPPY! That was like..the best day of my life ever...phew

HEY YOU GUYS! I went to Edge 102 (a radio station) this afternoon and I asked Dougie if he could hand Fran a poem that I had made him called "A Lad Named Fran" because Fran wasn't there and there was no other way of giving the poem to Fran, and so Dougie was like "Yea! for surE!" and so I went to see them perform later on, and I got to talk to Fran and Dougie after the show, and I asked Dougie if he had given Fran the poem, then Dougie said "YEP!" then he said to Fran "Franny, She's the one that wrote the poem for you" and Fran went "YOU'RE AMANDA!?!!!!" and i was like "Yes I am" and he was like "THank you SO much! It was so beautiful! It really means a lot to me, SERIOUSLY!" and I was like "Aww no problem Fran!" and he told me that he was glad that he had met me, then he asked if I went on the Travis message board and I was like "Ya sometimes!" and he was like "REALLY? WHat do you go on as?" and i said "OH, My name!!" and he was like "Ohhh ok then! I'll look for you" and I was like "OK FRAN!" and that was that...it was amazing..and I got lots of great pics with the Travis lads, and also pictures of them performing :D :blush: :kiss: ...I love them so much...(Peace the FUCK right OUT TRAVIS!!)

Awww i saw them too and it was so amazing, i was up close to them too, (I was the blonde with the cream coloured, fairly big hat) I Talked to all of them and I told fran that he's basically the reason why I'm a musician and he had a spazz and was very happy to hear that, and he gave me great advice and they were all so very kind! I'm gunna go see them at the radio station tomorrow afternoon, then I'm off to the concert later that night! :blush: (It was a dream come true to see them and meet them) *sigh*..
