"so, exactly HOW much money do the band get paid?" ;o)- The new setlist...
I thought they played Talk at the buzz gig in Cologne on April 7th? Here's the setlist from that show anyway. Not sure where I got this from, think I saw it posted on here around the time of the gig! Square One Politik Speed Of Sound God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Warning Sign Talk X&Y Yellow Low The Scientist Til Kingdom Comes Clocks What If In My Place A Message Fix You I think 'The Hardest Part' will be this album's 'A Whisper', in that it'll barely get an outing, if at all. Think Chris metnioned that The Hardest Part has 'absolutely no invention' and its an 'homage to REM'! Or something like that!- extended version of the song "parachutes"?
they haven't played the song a great deal of times, not since very early Parachutes tour era; spring/summer 2000. They did play it in Australia in summer 2001 too come to think of it. As for extended versions, there's certainly not one recorded that I've ever heard of. Chris may ad-lib a little when he played it tho if that counts!- Albertus font?
yeah I got it from some site like that too I remember. I'll keep hoping!- Albertus font?
Hey guys, just wondered where I can download the Coldplay font from? I had it on my old computer but not this one. Cheers x- X&Y ampersand font?
does anyone know where I can get the Albertus font from? I had it on my old computer but not on this one. Cheers for the help x- How do I play .torrent files?!
Hey guys, may be a silly question but I'm new to all this! I downloaded the Amsterdam buzz gig from the forum but have no ideahow to play it! Just wondered what program I need to use and where I can get it? Thanks for the help!- The "Rarest" songs you have?
Streets of Baltimore is quite a rare song I've got, haven't really seen it many other places. That Dont Impress Me Much and Like I Love are pretty cool, but Chris only sang them during the middle 8 of Trouble and In My Place. I saw on a site a few years back that on their first every XFM radio session Coldplay covered Street Spirit?! Never heard of or seen about it anything since, but the guy said he had it on bootleg?! A guy called Scientist around 2002 on the official board. Oh, also got full band Gravity, 1.36 and A Whisper both live, a cover of Hungry Heart, a few versions of World Turns Upside Down, Warning Sign live acoustic a year before AROBTTH was released, a video of the first ever performance of Amsterdam in Sydney on 8/8/01 and Idiot, Murder, Lost Highway and God Put videos also from that gig. Chris sang the chorus to "All the things she said" by Tatu during Clocks at the radio one gig a few years back, think covered Shining Light by Ash too at some point, got that floating around somewhere. i guess this is the real 'rare' stuff I've got, I have pretty much all the stuff the other guys have mentioned on this post too- The "Rarest" songs you have?
"I first got suspecious when she came into the room, not walking on two legs but flying on a broom"! Gotta love it! Didn't Chris 'write' it with Simon Pegg or something?- Setlist help? Splendor in the Grass 2003
http://www.easytoplease.net has loads of setlists over from over the last 5 years or so, that site will probably be your best bet- So Japan gets their x&y early?
 by the way, that's a little odd...- So Japan gets their x&y early?
I remember everyone one getting a little mental about Amsterdam not being on the US version back in 2002, but it proved to be bravado and didn't happen. Spies wasn't on the Chinese version of the album so I just guess that different countries get alternative versions; think of the Danish versions of Don't Panic and the Dutch EP live 6-track, everyone gets an advanced version. Even us in the UK get the album before the US guys, so we all just have to do the best with what we get! Good things come to those who wait and all that... - Questions that'll never be answered on Q&A...
