New York show winners are ....
I don't mean to get someone's hopes up for no reason, but I have some good news! My sister received a random winner's email notice today, the 11th, at 1pm est (the first notification, not the confirmation that the previous winners are waiting on). the given date to register by was the 15th. Even if you haven't won as of yet, check your emails! and see you at MSG :D

Anyone only like certain parts of 42?
I'm not understanding the hype around this song myself. It's very odd. The first minute has a nice sound, except the lyrics make me go  Then it shifts gears and features a string section, which doesn't agree with me at all (the subtle dissonance makes me cringe) third part has lyrics that make me go  again so in picture form, this song makes me go :veryangry::confused:

New York show winners are ....
When I had first saw the headline of "Coldplay to play free show in NYC" I had thought it would be along the lines of the massive (and legendary tbqh :)) central park concerts, as they are no doubt of that caliber band. coldplay and a few hundred thousand fans in the heart of nyc would be a fantastic time. a free MSG show is still unprecedented, but i guess i was hoping for easier accessibility and bigger scale thats all. as for why so few people, you'll have to ask MSG and the band about that. capacity is certainly much greater than that.

New York show winners are ....
hello all first post long time lurker! this is why it's a double bummer for my friends and i. this promo concert basically changed the odds of landing a ticket to the one nyc show from the 15k it would be for a regular show to just 3500, plus the fact that naturally many more people from across the country would be in the running for this particular show. doh. guess i'll go stand outside and listen to the bass or something :embarassed:
