  1. not bad at all, I know there's plenty of 2Pac material to go through, but I think this one song fits the tempo pretty good.
  2. I am going to speculate and say that the show was filmed. the official beastie boys tribute was posted, so why not? I can hope right? ;) I sat in Section W1 - last section - dead center view in Row 8 (only 10 rows in the section). Beautiful sound and atmosphere where almost all the other Coldplay fans around me were pretty much singing each song, except "Up In Flames" I mean I was singing it but others felt it was time to sit, not me, standing up the whole time. Great show visually, and everything else. I hope to see them again in the next year
  3. my friend just called me, show ended with ETIAW.
  4. if it is, Friday should be AMAZING. well it will be nonetheless.
  5. I was contemplating using the Lot across from the Bowl, the one with the park benches, but since I used the Hollywood and Highland lot before (for Jimmy Kimmel Live, well the recent Coldplay one), I will definitely use that instead when I go Friday night. thanks for the reference Dianne. :)
  6. YAWN! Any other venue and I would venture that any other promoter wouldn't give two craps about this. Live Nation has nothing better to do then sue for the wrong reasons. I was sitting in the Angels Stadium parking lot for 5 hours before I saw the U2 show there last year, I witnessed PLENTY of bootleg t-shirts being sold. Hell I even saw cops on horses patrolling for drinkers. Absolutely NOTHING was done to those bootleg sellers. and yes LIVE NATION promoted the U2 360 tour so if it has to be said, Live Nation is hypocritical when it comes to this subject. So I call B:censored:T! on LiveNation ...................anyways........................ Through no luck of my own, my cousin texts me saying, "Hey my sister's boss is selling 2 Coldplay tickets for the 4th, she would buy mine if someone takes me" I replied, "HELL YES!" - found out they were at face value for the BACK OF THE HOUSE. I have gone to many shows and have been privileged to see shows at a decent view, hell I saw Radiohead at Coors Amp. (now called Cricket Wireless Amp) in 2003 from the GA LAWN, but it was BEAUTIFUL! So yeah no complaints whatsoever from me. I heard about those apparent random seat upgrades, so it's a small possibility, but I am not going to hope for it. I was lucky enough to get a ticket and I am going to enjoy the show, no matter where I sit  This means I have to work on a new and updated signature picture below ;)
  7. I also won tickets from KROQ, and found out that the promotional tickets given away by KROQ will probably be let in first (don't quote me on that). I do remember the KROQ guy calling me both times (1st for the winning sentence, and the reschedule) and telling me to line up on Orange and Hawthorne. Then the email sent out yesterday from 1iota.com: ...so there's a chance that if you got tickets from KROQ, you will be in front, think of like the Depeche Mode 2009 "block party" - which I went to as well, which was massive by the way. I plan on leaving around 1-2pm. My cousin is coming from Fontana, California (where she lives) to go with me (i live near the 60/605 interchange without giving my location :laugh3: ), she is a die-hard fan as I am, so naturally I called her when I won the tickets. I am now relieved that it will be Thursday as there is no weather related issues that day. I have planned our route via Google Maps, and have a backup plan if traffic becomes an issue prior to arrival. Hope to meet some of you there. COLDPLAY ROCKS!
  8. waaaaahhhhhh BRIAN ENO "RUINED" COLDPLAY....WAHHHHHH baby need a bottle?
  9. I have since "adjusted" :sneaky: my sig for my favorite lyrics of the song! thanks for the link.
  10. I would also like to have a CD if possible. my email for contact is - [email protected]
  11. A technical school, my financial aid and a loan are going to cover everything, so basically all I got to do is show up to class everyday. hence, the show conflicts with my school schedule. I normally would just say, screw it, miss a day, but I am not so willing now considering I get my certification in 7 months! ABOUT THE VENUE I saw Santana there in 2000 (opening up was Mana), and Coldplay in 2006; I can say that this venue is not built for most bands, although Depeche Mode have the ambiance in their music to blend into the shitty acoustics of the venue.
  12. Sadly (at least for now), it seems I can't go. I just started school (to be a Computer Tech/Network Tech) and it runs Monday-Thursday nights and the show is on a Tuesday night :(.
  13. my Flickr pics: [taken by my cousin, using my cell phone, the Verizon Wireless Envy] {you will also notice pics of the celebrities in front of her and a pic of the 2nd opening act} http://www.flickr.com/photos/28689482@N02/sets/72157606228754614/
  14. Where were you sitting? Were you in Col. 7, Row 6 by chance? :sneaky:
