  1. i don't know anyone who's seen them live - my cousin's dying to though. i thought they may've played a few festivals this year, with their album and everything, maybe glasto, but they never did.
  2. anyone got his album? or hasn't it been released? only i heard some stuff of his today that sounded good. he's the one off the lexus advert, i think.
  3. is it just me - or does his video actually show him walking round with a dead angel? only i was half asleep when i saw it, and i don't know whether it's mixed up in a dream or not - if you get what i mean.
  4. it sounds like the name of a footy player to me - other than that, sorry, i can't help

hi rose, i'm jane! i don't think i've posted on this bit yet, but as far as the hair goes - anything but dead short, which just looks odd. i wonder what he'll look like if he actually goes bald?

night night! don't let the bedbugs bite. :sniper: (or shoot you for that matter - they're getting more and more technologically advanced you know)
  7. i wouldn't even try to buy anything to pass on - i'm too careless - all that will be left of my coldplay infatuation will probably be a really scratched, battered cd - and they'll all look at it an go - so how did this work again? cos obviously at that time it will be like the jetsons - all hi-tech ( with escalators to the moon and stuff)

now why wasn't i ever taught that at school? the ins and outs of pythagoras' theorem - yes, whereas something useful like the meaning of moo chow - no! the education system's all wrong.

moo chow? you've lost me :o
  10. i think it's so nice when you can love a band as much as that. i mean, i can't wait until i'm 80 and coldplay have (with any luck) had 50 million albums out and i can sit there still telling my grandkids how great they are. but then, i'm swear i'm gonna do my best to be a really embarrassing "cutting edge"old person - no blue rinses for me.

oh my god - i am so surprised and impressed by myself. i never ever remember words to songs. even when i was little my nursery rhymes alway turned out as something like "baa baa black sheep, sitting in the corner, eating her curds and whey..." what the hell's whey?
  12. are they still working on a new album? which of theirs do you like the most? car horns meep then? never really thought about that.
  13. dave's girl replied to a post in a topic in Coldplay
now - i'm guessing it's radiohead. hang on - fake plastic trees? is it?
  14. it's safe to say you quite like them then? what the hell does meep mean?
  15. oh right - i really should get myself sorted out with a copy of OK Computer. it's been floating round on my "to buy" list for centuries.
  16. never had them - made pretend eyeballs with them one halloween though.

haven't you seen it yet? oh god - he looks so very odd! i was appalled. i dread to think what my nan was like - he's gone all....well....modern. in fact, i might have to call my nan and check he hasn't given the old dear a heart attack or something, all we need now is for richard whitely to wear a normal tie and it will be proof that the world's gone crazy!
  18. i was aiming more for "the wombles" - but wobles works good too.
  19. righty ho then - i haven't got the foggiest who sparklehorse are, just that i kept calling that telly programme that was on the other week that - but i think it was called sparklehouse or something. so they're good too then?
  20. the opera or the pig thing?
  21. no - it's some greengrocer discussing the merits of lychees - it's amazing what i'll sit through on a saturday morning.
  22. how many albums have they actually got? i was gonna rob my cousin's copy of bloodsugarsexmagik (is that what it's called) but i'd already pissed her off that day so thought better of it - she sometimes lets me go on holiday with her for free, so i don't want to get in her bad books.
  23. apparently the music students listened to an opera about a man tying a pig to his foot and falling in love with a woman, or something, which wasn't english but sounds fun nevertheless.

maybe that's part of the attraction for some people - if they progressed too much it may produce a shock similar to the one in my household when we saw richard madely had had his hair cut? why oh why did he do it?
  25. i know! although my taste is becoming more refined these days - i watched some of saturday kitchen on bbc 2 last week - not sure why. :icecream:
