:) Don't worry about the amount of notes, take your time for it! When it won't work, take a pause and get further later.

Get rid of the sheetmusic.. go sit behind your piano and take your time and listen carefuly to the song and find out what's played. Slow down the song where necessary and keep the last note in mind to find the next one. If you do this with multiple songs, you'll be able to play by ear for every song what you'd like te play!
