  5. I couldn't agree more. Just because a band takes more of a mainstream approach doesn't necessarily mean their music is complete garbage. We all know it's no Parachutes or A Rush of Blood, but I think it was completely unfair of her to bash a band that doesn't sell less than 1,000 copies because no one knows of them.
  6. Unlike most Coldplayers, I took the time to read the blog as it intrigued me. I'd imagine most long-time fans here would admit this album is no Parachutes or A Rush of Blood to the Head, however, it's far from rubbish. But I must give her credit. She did succeed in what most journalists aim for in the long run: garnering an audience.
  7. Rooney deserved to be sent off, regardless of what you think. Don't forget that Rooney is a hot-head before you hold a grudge.
  8. If you looked, you would've noticed I haven't had LastFM for very long. I've been listening to Radiohead and Coldplay since the turn of the century. Believe me, songs from Kid A and OK Computer have upwards to 60 plays each on my iTunes alone! That's not including all the times I would listen to it almost all the way through and then switch the song. I can appreciate that you are a huge Radiohead fan, but it just doesn't float my boat as much as it used to.
  9. Radiohead is the second most played band on my LastFM profile. You think I haven't given them a fair chance? I used to be a strong Radiohead fan, however, once the "wow" factor wore off, I realized that the music is recycled and reused, and the song's magic is completely lost.
  10. "The band that does that song called 'Clocks'". That pisses me off too.
  11. A general Radiohead song is extremely repetitive. I find a lot of their musical concepts to be very well thought out but to be executed very poorly. For example: House of Cards, more or less the same riff for 5 minutes. I'm sorry, but their music has little replay value. Not to say that VLV is even close to Coldplay's best, but it is superior to In Rainbows.

  13. How are the numbers so far?
  14. Yeah, this stream is kick ass! I've already got my girlfriend listening to it.
  15. Ah. Thanks for the answer. Great stream, listening now!
