Dear Ian (@busybeeburns), what's yor honest opinion on ETIAW? And the other songs?

I can't believe that's your real opinion, I like VLV song and album a lot, also three others and ETIAW (in close following with Swallowed in The Sea") is in the weakset ranks of all their work... Listen to 30% not happy fans, and you'll begin to suspect that something's not going good or right with ETIAW. (which in my humble opinion shouldn't be in the next record for their own good) On the other hand, The other 3 new songs I've heard from Rock Im Park, they sound fantastic in my opinion...which make me hoping a good LP5. What do you think about them?

Remember the record could still be on the final stage of mix for some songs... Besides, they still have to master it... A good chance to let fans express what they feel, and yes, it's Coldplay and EMI final decision, always, of course, but 30% of fans disliking the song in the poll is not really a good sign, really ...

Ok, so far al three songs we heard are much better than the single, and nothing relate to the style/sound I'm suspecting from the beginning that EMI has a lot to do with ETIAW going out as a first single... That's why I asked since the first listen that a campaign against ETIAW should be going on..., in order that there's pressure to not include ETAW in the LP5 final tracklisting

I believe that this song is the one some people are calling "Against the Wall" I got one eye on you... line is heard This is also better than ETIAW

People, don't misunderstand me, I'm no hater now, but it's such a disappointment I feel now...really It's better that when I wake up tomorrow ETIAW should have been nothing but a bad dream... it feels to me so short the way Brilliant people like these should have judged this song... Self-indulgency is the way to feel short and apart form greatness... and this is maybe catchy, colourful and shiny, but just on the surface. On the inside, it's not great or deep and seems soulless and so mainstream/commercial. Wish they could make a record like Dylan or Cohen qualities, but in this moment it feels this is far from happening...

Campaign against ETIAW in new album... ETIAW no more...

You're wrong. Eno wrote the song with them this time around, not only produced. (Apart from the credits gone to the authors of "I Go to RIo", of course)

Once almost everybody has heard it I'll give you my humble opinion I think the song is catchy, but it's not a brilliant song, really... not the one they'll be remembered But I think that this one is not going to be finally in next album. Really. At least, I hope so...

The only thing I'm sure right now, is that tomorrow by more or less the same time as the final set of lyrics revealed today, something different will happen as I already expected for a long time (night between 31st May and 1st June). Think I already told you, but no one seemed to believe me...

Still thinking/believing that the whole set of lyrics is just for one single song? (Just sowing the seeds of doubt...)
