fucking good news babeh~ and I just realised I have missed Placebo in Singapore last year. :/ They came for some little 'showcasing'. HMV was issuing out tickets for those who buy Placebo's MEDS + any other album. It was very vague so I didn't know they they would actually come IN PERSON. I thought it's just some album showcase. So when I finally went back to HMV thinking I should go no matter what cos I love them, THE TICKETS ARE ALL GONE. :cry:

it's just a suggestion...perhaps they can try more electronica stuff. come up with more songs like English Summer Rain and Special Needs

haha, well I don't want them to retire too but by the look of the situation right now, I don't see where they can go...

another direction as in a different kind of music. placebo goes acoustic?! haha. i want to see them live before they retire though.

haha! all your effort in trying to redeem Videotape. But after more than 10 listens, I think i have come to like the album version of Videotape really.

I guess its a chance for placebo to take a break again. haha well, i think a new drummer might be good, i'd really love to see them going in another direction in music. trying out something new, a new drummer might make it happen. though there's always the possibility of them retiring. :(

Placebo is rather mainstream, you should be able to find it in most of the music stores. for me: PLACEBO(debut) > Sleeping With Ghosts > Without You I'm Nothing > MEDS > Black Market Music

hmm, usually the forums i go to, they dont cite placebo as a good band you know. as in good but not great/awesome. I like Special K too, but i dont link it with ESR. and yea, stefan has great gay dances. I guess the appeal to placebo is really their catchy music. It's just simple, 'groovy', really nice to listen to. Unlike those metal bands. haha. what albums do you have now?

haha, im afraid i cant do that friend, I'm only here for Radiohead (haha, one of those ateasers). But yea keep up your love for Placebo. An underrated band. And molko is too cute to resist. English Summer Rain was actually the song that introduced me to Placebo. ;)

haha, it's quite obvious that you are in your early stage of obsession. yea, i own all their albums(the singles collection too). Sadly I havent seen them live cos no one great comes to Singapore(Southeast Asia). I've only seen Muse and Coldplay live here, Brett Anderson cancelled his gig earlier this August ): ): My fave song..hmm, that's really hard to choose but I think some of my all time favourites are Slave To the Wage, Bionic, Teenage Angst..etc Have been listening to them since about 2 years ago.

not very particular about that cross fade thing but I must say overall, this album is great. Pretty straightforward sounding.

ahaha, didn't know coldplayers dig Placebo too! I love their old songs, best being their debut.

15 Step is amazing...while Videotape is a little disappointing.
