I used to be good friends with albie back in the days of the coldplay.com forum. He's a stand up guy if you like him and a disaster if you don't! Albie rang me a few times, so I've actually spoken to him on the phone, granted we're in different countries so it was 5 in the morning every time that he rang me! :laugh3: ALbie is a legend.

I SO can't wait. I've heard so many positive things about this new album hearing violet hill on tuesday is keeping me from exploding from my lack of patience

She just said that "YES!" - is a very menacing dark brooding song. and that she thinks this album will be a classic and that every song sounds very different.

CONFIRMATION "Chris martin is working with cascada" she also just gave the new coldplay album a VERY good review saying every single song is very strong and that Reign of Love is almost gospel like, a very lovely song. and that the song viva la via is "Just BRILLIANT" radio one have the first play of the new single on tuesday. on the jo whiley show. not radio 6. and now she's playing shiver for old times sake! :)

On the Jo Whiley Show this morning, this was first revealed that Chris martin had left coldplay, then after many many phone in's - this was admitted to have been a jo whiley fuck up! - and that she meant he's leaving the band members temporarily to work with cascada. She also said the following about new songs. Reign of Love - "This is a very lovely, sweet song, which is very gospel like" 42 - "This is an excellend song, a potetial single, but then again, every song on this album sounds like it could be a single, there is so much strong material on here, I think this album could be a classic in years to come" Yes! - This is a very dark song, very menacing and brooding, which is different.
