I so disagree. IT is one of my favourite stories of all time. I watched the movie when I was a kid and it freaked me out big time, then I got it on dvd a short while back after seeing it again and it just compells me. I wouldn't recommend though if you don't like horror. Alot of people are telling me the book is better than the movie so obviously I'm interested. I'm not a big stephen king reader, movies are great, never read one of his books though. but so far, I am really enjoying IT. I think the book is if anything, - just as good as the movie. but everybody has their own opinion I suppose :) Harry Potter is just the best thing since sliced bread. DONT READ THIS SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE LAST BOOK!!

hmm, i can't imagine it making much of a difference, thing is, with it being a more acoustic sound coming from the casino, it'll sound more folky. I don't like using slides unless i'm playing Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd :lol:

yup to that guy who said about coldplay tuning their high e's down to D alot. well, on parachutes, sparks is in the same, but with a capo, and high speed has alot of strings tuned to D. boy, they like their D's! :laugh3:

I get you and I'm still going to go with what they originally said because it's a VERY bold statement for them to make. and we know how anxious and pessemistic chris can get about releasing new music. though, in reflection... they said X&Y was reinventing the wheel.

Fakfak it's not tuned in drop D. however, the HIGH E is dropped down to D. not the Low E. this works out better with the chords, and Jons parts are all in this tuning too :) tune like so, d- B- G- D- A- E-

I don't think the painting in full will be the cover - we've heard coldplay using lots of influences of famous old painters (no pun intended! :P) and so maybe the cover will be like a mixture of frida khalo and this. who knows.

It really does seem plausible I mean, weren't they thinking of releasing violet hill as a promotion anyways? well that's kinda what they're doing, except... not for free! :P Well this is good news. :D It also makes me happy that chris was nice to his fan by telling him the information, he's a good guy chris is. unless you're holding a camera
