Although Chris has always been my favourite member, mainly because I write my own acoustic songs and kinda relate to him on that level. I love jonny's voice. His accent is old school british! and I'm british! :laugh3:

No capo on either parts on the record. Chris plays his rhythm part differently live, hence the capo on live performances but the lead section plays the same. it's: h = Hammer on / p = Pull off. I can respect that they are fantastic musicians, and they probably DO play their stuff better than most metal musicians. But the 7 minute Guitar solo's always put me off metal. The only metal band I can stand is Slipknot. I get alot of greif for this, I don't know why I like them each ot his own I suppose.

I just double checked. I was talking about Chris' part. Jon's guitar parts are all in standard tuning on this one. granted he only really plays the hammer on and pull off's on the intro the second verse. he doesn't really do alot on this one. Sorry about the confusion lol.

Let me know :) if lots of people want them I'll make my own thread, but lets not get ahead of ourselves :laugh3: Also FAKFAK - you're totally right, it's best to watch on the glastonbury performance, or the japanese acoustic session for how he plays Warning Sign live, capo 2. :)

I'm starting to notice Coldplay breaking onto the ART scene, it's like, alot of "Coldplay 2.0" has alot of references to art. not just the frida khalo thing but now this. (AND the song "Famous Old Painters") I don't think that painting itself will be the cover, maybe just a small part of it in the dead centre of the cover. Who knows, but I'm definitely interested by the fact coldplay are using lots of art references

I just finished downloading and watching episode 8 or scrubs season 7. it's the last one to have been uploaded!! :cry: I hate watching this series episode by episode. with like, a week in between. well, after the first 6. because they were released together ARGHHHHHHHH

:) there are lots of bands that people are into here. mainly U2, Radiohead, or Muse. But I rate the Killers more than those 3. not that I dislike them, I just don't listen to them as much. and the killers are all great musicians.

:) it is the same tuning as warning sign though when chris plays warning sign live, he plays it differently in standard tuning - just because it saves on using an extra guitar. on the album it's played in that tuning though :)

I thought about that too, about being on the video shoot, but the person is from spain. however, part of the video is being shot there aswell as sicily so maybe?? it's the only reasonable explination for having a copy of just the single.

haha, Cos I was in HMV the other week looking at it and I was like "funny... I don't remember any hype about this album" - but then I saw the reacklisting and it had a few from hot fuss (presumably demo versions) - and under the gun and who let you go, then the penny dropped. lol

I know what you're saying, but having studied music for the best part of my college and uni life, music business teaches you alot. Bands only earn up to a single penny per album sold. they don't earn anything from that, bands earn money from gigs. that's why alot of bands don't really care about their fans downloading. debs wild said on the official coldplay site a while ago before it changed that the band were not concerned with people downliading their music as it is still getting heard by people who will then want to see the live show. so how about that for your moral dilemma?
