I really dont think "or death and all his friends" was part of the title. I'm sure they just had both of those titles "death and all his friends" or "viva la vida" but weren't sure which one to go with. It's just like that other misunderstanding of "prospekts march" being a song instead of it just meaning "the albums progress"

No, the title is just Viva LA vida!.. they just wrote the title on top of the tracklisting!

"leftrightleftrightleft"! yeaa, I loved that title, I was curious about "famous old painters" and "glass of water" too.... Prospekts march was never a song!!!

Because the album's title is "viva la vida"! It was going to be one or the other, they chose vlv! I wonder if they still plan on giving away a track that's not included in the album as a promo. :cool:

ahh, I def was hoping for a more exiting update today. not someone covering a song of theirs and making it sound like a britney tune.

I am positive that they have the tracklisting and album title by now. How hard is it to write it down on a piece of paper and put it on their site?

I really never have believed the album title is the whole thing. but instead one or the other! "Viva..." sounds more interesting than "death..." to me just because of the high contrast with song names and themes.

well yeah, i've been talking about the 9 songs thing forever... what made them so strongly come up with this idea that after all their work and all those songs they did, to always only put 9 in the album?!?! I am sure no one would have cared if they included more tracks on it! I was always extracurious for the songs titled "leftrightleftrightleft" (so amusing) and "lost!" for some reason One thing I really like tho if this be true, is that they kept "viva la vida" as their title, the whole vlvodaahf was too damn long and odd to me

yeah, i guess theres a lot of truth in your post, which most things on it I support. But it doesn't change the fact that when a magazine revealed stuff on about the album got me high on it and very anxious, taking their article as facts. When actually I really never put thought into the whole media manipulation stuff that happens, which is a great bummer. But they themselves did say on their official site, tracklisting was being finished a week ago and that they'd let us know what it was going to be once they had it. Even said at the end p.s we are finishing tracklisting today.. but oh well. :s

yeah! It's like when you were a kid and your dad or mom said, "we'll go to the park (or the airport, or mall whatever you'd love going to) this weekend"... and then they'd say "oh, cant do this weekend, but we'll do it next weekend" and then next weekend it didn't happen again... I've never really been a fan of these type of "promises"... but hopefully the next update is the mythical legendary one we're all waiting for.
