Damn it they keep letting me down every week, whats taking them so long at this point! They already finished!!! The tracklisting was done last week!.. and wheres our violet hill giveaway?? I'm starting to feel depressed, there's always this huge anticipation for a tuesday, or a thursday, and then the next week, and nothing happens! even though they said it would :( :( ;(

damn, I really thought we'd be getting the track list + official title today... :( How will I ever sleep if they tell us "we'll put the tracklist and title album up, as soon as we finish choosing tracks... p.s. we are finishing tracklist today"!!!

I still prefer one or the other, both potential titles together seems like a bad accident of indecision. but oh well... Damn I was hoping for them to write a new entry telling us the official name and tracklist... which they said were finishing tuesday! Now I wont b able to sleep well till monday or tuesday!

i wonder why they insist so much in only putting 9 tracks on the album... that mean they are going to waste about 9 songs! which I'm sure are all great.

I like the fact that "viva la vida" is so different, and that it contrasts the fact that all their songs are dark and all. It's got more depth to it than if they just named it "death and all his friends" and make it all so obvious.. and so my chemical romance

Keep "VIVA LA VIDA" .. its really interesting, and engaging for me ( a spanish speaking person) to feel a deeper connection to an artist I like so much and their art! death and all his friends is already a name of a song in the album.. and in my opinion it just sounds too my chemical romance thing... I'd rather hear all the bunch of interesting interviews on about why viva la vida and hear chris defend his point and breakthrough with it. But then again, the title is not the actual music, but I just wanted to share my point of view here.

but ricky martins song, is called "living la vida loca" completely different thing

Well so what happened with "violet hill"??? weren't they giving it away in the "coming weeks" its been over a month since!.. and i wonder what they mean by full report from coldplays STUDIO SESSIONS for viva la vida?. video sessions? (that would rock) or more interviews?.. yeah why haven't they themselves said anything to us!

hmm I wonder why they keep changing the tracklisting of the album.. The rolling stones didn't mention anything about the track "famous old painters"... I'd say it has a strong chance of being the album title.. but they also seem to have given "viva la vida" a lot of emphasis... i wonder.. and most of the songs are about death? which feels completely opposite to all these lively colors... they deff got something very interesting cooking in the oven.

NICE! Finally some inside on all this hype on their new "look"/work!. Love all the different arrangements the designer came up with for the site... I think my favs are number 1, 9 and 12 b! Which one do u guys like the best?

so true! every week I try to keep my mind off of the fact that they are about to release this new album, but its impossible. So then I wait and hope for a new entry or something even greater on about it. The star finally appears but its just some other message on other stuff! how much more stuff can they post before they give us some info!... I was looking forward to that track "violet hill" they were going to give away in the following weeks i think that really played a dirty trick in my head. maybe they shouldn't even had mentioned that and just randomly gave it away.. It feels now like months since they said that. Now I gotta wait 2 more days for a new star to appear with prob some other none LP4 info.. urgh. Not angry just a bit too damn anxious!

i wish they gave away "violet hill" next week, or at least a sample of something.. even just a crash of a cymbal on some new recording would do. I am that desperate i guess haha. We don't even know the title of the new album!

i just really wonder why do they only want 9 tracks on the album when they could have well like 16, but obviously wont be a 16 track album (i dont know why). but they could make it like 11 or 12 songs long no? I know they said the whole keeping it short cause the bleatles and all, but whyyy haha.

Wooo! I really hope they give out that track violet hill, I am sure it is a stunning one, and I am completely cool with them giving it away and making more room for another track. I was really curious about a couple of songs they had previously listed for the album tho, titles like "Lost" and "lefrightleftrightleft" (I absolutely loved that title, it immensely intrigued me and looking at all the other titles it would have stood out amongst tracks) I wouldn't mind if they don't keep their word on making this album short and make it about 70 minutes long instead haha. I guess there'll b a bunch of extra material, hopefully they bring it to light in time. I mean, the songs are done, why throw them away, I'm sure that they all are great songs.

I still think it's not a song tho. but if somehow lost in translation and a very well thought out super mysterious game they all agreed on it turned out being one, glad to have extra tracks on this album. I do wonder now, are they still planning on keeping the album 45 minutes long? or due to all the extra writing that took place they just threw that short album idea away and are including all of the songs they have mentioned on it ? (which they really should, god knows there's no logical reasons to waste any coldplay material in this world haha)

Damn right on that haha. elbow's album sounds very promising..

Prospekts march is not a song! I don't know how people could be so misleaded by that one entry they wrote, they referred to prospek's march as how the album's process was going! not that "prospekt's march" is a song.
