The show was so good! The band was really tight and it was so awesome to get so close! I have to still look through my pictures and edit them, so I won't be posting photos until tomorrow, but... I did get a setlist! Also after the broadcast ended they did a Sam Cooke cover with the opening band, and then the last song was Stars and Sons.

I don't think that America is a racist country. But I think there are large portions of the country that are racists. And these areas I guess are the more rural areas of America.

I'd have to disagree. I mean from the optimism of Ed and Colin discussing how to release a set of songs that to me seems like their close. Plus multiple sightings from twitter of Thom and Nigel being seen coming in and out of studios in England... though of course that could be for Atoms for Peace

Religion is a factor for me in some sense in terms of how much you point out how religious you are. People like Bush and Huckabee make it a point to express how religious they are. It should never be brought up. Period. It's a personal belief and is no one elses business. But of course it is brought up to appease and gain votes from the majority of the country. I also cannot take someone like Mike Huckabee seriously when he says that he doesn't believe in evolution when the evidence is so strong. Also I just said he's an idiot as a joke, but also how I have a friend who's family is mormon and their lifestyle is screwed up. It's not against you personally. I just find that religion has done too much harm and it should be something that people separate w/ debates.

I agree. But I hate to say it but it's mostly just the central part of the country that is primarily racist, as well as prejudiced and homophobic too. And they also just happen to be religious christian nuts. I find it extremely contradictory to want to follow the teachings of Jesus to love your neighbor yet they have strong hate for people that are different. Not to mention how ignorant, uninformed and stupid a lot of them are too.

Thanks for organizing and putting this all together Mo... turned out really well! I'm interested but also pretty happy to see how this list turned out. Definitely had a few surprises in terms of the order and placement of some albums, including a few that I thought would do better.

That's what I don't understand is how people want the leaders to fail. It just doesn't make any sense. I mean I didn't like Bush, but I still wanted him to not mess up and succeed in what was good for the country. I agree. He's so fake and not genuine.

I dare you all to watch the full debate and NOT get aggravated as to how thickheaded, ignorant, and stupid she is. edit: especially the 2nd part where he gives evidence and she changes the subject.

Mitt Romney seems to be a front runner, but I don't see him at this point really beating Obama. I feel that people are still so sick of the Republicans and their old ways under Bush's presidency that they won't vote for him.
