cool! if you should check out his best solo albums I say go with: Ram McCartney Band on the Run Venus & Mars Chaos and Creation in the Backyard Those are his 5 best solo albums IMO Other ones that are okay are: Flaming Pie, Electric Arguments, and maybe Red Rose Speedway

hahaha... I wasn't THAT young that I don't remember. I was just a youngin' of 8 years old :P I do remember that I was fairly close to the stage and that the music was really loud. I think it was so loud I had to wear earplugs. I remember being there with my parents and also my younger brother too. I remember when he played With a Little Help From My Friends (I think it was the last song), and also Yellow Submarine. And I think some of his solo songs too. I do think we left the concert like a song early to be the mad rush of people leaving and also perhaps because I think my brother wanted to leave or something because he was tired.

I think he is... I saw a fb update that he's playing shows. I saw him in '97 (my first concert :wacky:)

I'm hoping he will! last time he came around here I didn't have enough money to go, and also believe it or not wasn't as interested. But if he does announce a show I want to get tickets

cool! that setlist looks pretty sweet! (especially songs like Two of Us, I'm Looking Through You, Day Tripper, Nineteen Hundred & Eighty Five. it seems like he's playing a lot of songs from Band on the Run I guess after having the deluxe release of it. I wonder if he'll do the same for McCartney's deluxe release... I hope so!

I guess from a organizational stand point me and greg decided to split it into 3 parts just because posting all of the lists onto one thread might get a bit confusing to distinguish between each of the lists especially since there were I think 10 in total. But for the most part in the future (with perhaps the exception of Arcade Fire), it's all going to be in one thread.

bump... it's just been announced that in June 13 that Paul McCartney will be releasing deluxe editions of his solo albums McCartney and McCartney II, that will include bonus tracks and unreleased songs. Definitely going to be getting the McCartney deluxe edition... great album.

Well voting ends tomorrow, and the most voted choice in each thread will move onto the next round. If there's a tie for most votes then both choices will continue on. After the next round of voting we see which list is the most popular on the forum. Also if while you're waiting you can make your own top 15 list. Of course it won't count as being part of the competition, but I'm sure a lot of people would want to see peoples choices (including myself)

choice B is pretty great looking at it again, but I wouldn't include I Might Be Wrong, Reckoner, Go Slowly (at least IR2 version), Lucky Though... it still has some of my favorites like Let Down, A Wolf at the Door, Nude, No Surprises, Exit Music.

I'd still rather wait until I receive it in the mail first before I look

I agree with I Will in that I find that it doesn't really fit too well on the album. The album itself feels a bit too long and that song itself I think is more b-side material if anything. :lol: showing your true German side I see Jules by getting all angry :P :lol:

i found it somewhat hilarious and creepy, because a few months ago my dad was converting old videotapes to his computer, and for some reason we decided to drive under the World Trade Center. The funny thing about it was that i had a really strong New York accent and I couldn't even recognize it was me...haha :lol: But the creepy bit about it was that in the video I told my dad that they were going to fall down. Being like 7-9, I remember looking back at the time that I found the buildings to be so tall, that I couldn't see how they'd stand up. But still creepy never the less.
