I'd say his music tastes will most likely change, just as everyones taste change. As to what it will be who knows. I'm sure that my music tastes will be much different say 10 years from now than they are now and who knows if the same bands I like today I'll even listen to then. I mean yes I did listen to Van Halen (nice dig briggs :lol), and a lot! I felt they were going to be a band i'd listen to forever, but now I'd never put on a song by them. Same goes with other bands like The Who and Led Zeppelin. However think that some bands that have stood the test of longetivity will still be in my life in some form or another (The Beatles and Radiohead). But either way, who really cares. You like whatever music you like and no one should think otherwise.

tomorrow works. it's not because of you at all. I was just realizing today that I'm heading out later tonight, and then I have my internship tomorrow early. So by the time I got all of the lists I wouldn't have time to put things together. So I figure if I extend it a day it gives people who haven't more time, and by the time the deadline arrives I can make a new thread right away because I'll be ready to.

I haven't really listened to it too much, but listening to an artist like Beck really helped me to appreciate and like it a lot more.

well when do you think you might have your list ready? would an extra day help? I was actually thinking about extending it, because when I get the results I won't be able to make a thread until tomorrow evening

hmm i'll have to try that. honestly The Butcher is my favorite new songs of theirs since Twisted Words. I've listened to The Butcher more times these past few days than Lotus Flower (my favorite song off the new album) since the album was released

On that topic I'd have to go with everyone else. I mean the Newspaper album was very expensive. It was just like when the In Rainbows boxset came out. I shelled out $80 for that, but they gave a bonus cd of 8 songs though. I think it's great of them to make the song available for a free download for those that bought the newspaper album. Just because you bought the regular vinyl doesn't mean they'll never make the tracks available. I mean they made the In Rainbows CD 2 available like 1-2 years after it was released to download. Also I can't stop listening to The Butcher :|

I mean part of me wants to go because I had a great time last time, I want to go back to Montreal and there are no good festivals here in NY, or in the north east which sucks. At the same time the lineup isn't really amazing. I like a bunch of the bands, but not enough to want to travel like 6+ hours. but we'll see.
