  1. that is why i said to myself the $50 seats are fine for this tour. for what will most likely be 90 minutes, $100 plus fees is just too much.
  2. i went to a show a few years ago and sat in the back of the floor at the arena. from what i remember the last 3 floor sections or at least part of them were on a riser which helps a lot. so you are not flat on the floor with everybody else. i'm glad i decided to skip these shows and just go to philly. izod doesn't have the best sound and parking will be just awful especially with the football game from earlier in the day.
  3. the last few tours i have gotten the expensive seats but decided against it for this tour. with times being tight i decided that the extra money could go to other things. with only getting the cheapest ticket i could go to two coldplay shows instead of one. plus i get the feeling that the set will be 90-95 minutes and for what the ticket would be after all the fees, it becomes too much in my mind. i look forward to philly in july eventhough i won't be anywhere near the stage.
  4. why don't you just call comcasttix so they can refund your money? the market on ebay is not much of anything. if you get face plus fees you will be lucky. you're probably better off just getting a refund from comcasttix.
  5. good seats are available for the upper sections closest to the stage for $77(rows 2 and 4). i got 2 of the $50 tickets this afternoon since they were in the 1st row of section 205A. as much as i enjoy seeing coldplay the bottom line is they will probably only play 90 minutes and after all the fees i thought the other seats were too steep in price. obviously people are returning tickets as different ones are available everyday.
  6. for the price they are charging it should be close to 2 hours. however based on past performances it will probably be 90 minutes which with 4 albums and plenty of b-sides is too short for the price.
  7. when you go to purchase tickets from comcasttix and click on the buy tab for coldplay it says that the show is now july 25. if anybody can't make the date and has good tickets pm me. thanks.
  8. people are starting to say they received their congrats e-mail today. sadly, i did not get one :( if anyone can't go please pm me. thanks.
  9. although there are still 19 hours left on the d.c. auction as of now you can put in for 2 tickets next to the stage for maybe $7 more a ticket then what you would pay after all the ticketmaster fees.
  10. any chance someone can post the link for amazon.com to the contest? i can't find it.
  11. a good chunk of the presale seats will be average to not so good.
  12. only date i can make is the new jersey show. philly is on my wedding day and the others i'll be on the honeymoon.
  13. do not expect to be in the first few rows unless you go through a broker and pay a lot more than face value. the best thing if your top choice is a box office is to call up the box office and ask if they will have them on sale that morning. if they do ask is it first come first serve or do they distribute wrist bands and randomly pick a number and thats where the line starts. i'll try on-line and see what i can pull and go from there. for $100 a ticket plus fees i'm going to be somewhat picky.
  14. gmail worked well for me.
