  1. I'm probably going to end up with something like a 4-5-1 because I'll probably sub out Rooney. 5 points isn't enough on my squad.
  2. Yep I have two germans ready to rack up some points.
  3. I'm only going to watch the Germany v Australia game tomorrow.
  4. Algeria 2 - 0 Slovenia Ghana 2 - 1 Serbia Germany 2 - 0 Australia
  5. ^Agreed. Nigeria's goalkeeper was the player of the day.
  6. Did you watch Argentina's game today? Their offense is a joy to watch. They had some great shots and the Nigerian keeper made some spectacular saves. Watch a highlight reel and you'll see what I mean. Lionel Messi...the whole stadium goes crazy when he gets the ball. It's quite exciting watching him make a run to the goal.
  7. I had Messi too though as my captain; that's why I'm in 7th right now.
  8. I did. But there's a reason... *cough* free subs *cough*
  9. The sheer brilliance of billions of people coming together for one month should make the world cup exciting to anyone, whether a fan or not a fan of football/soccer.
  10. Basketball is fun to watch! I love the NCAA Tournament. The NBA is such a load of bullshit though. Everyone plays as an individual and it's more about "swag" than it is about actual skill. Now let's get back to the great sport of soccer.
  11. It's a sport which requires much more skill than a bunch 7 foot tall apes fucking each other to get a ball into a net.
  12. I agree. The first goal was entirely the defense's fault but they did a great job shutting down one of the world's top strikers. Fuck off then. YEA MAN SO MUCH FUN WATCHING 5 1v1 GAMES GOING ON ON ONE COURT. You're a joke.
  13. Altidore had a great opportunity, but Green made a nice save.
  14. Disappointing match for Englnd fans. Rooney will need to step it up if England's going to make a deep run in this tournament. As for the US...can't complain about the result, but I'll never be happy when all we get is a tie. If we expect to ever win a World Cup we need to start winning against powerhouses like England.
  15. Agreed on that, but the offense is looking spectacular! This Nigerian keeper is having a great match.
  16. Hahahahah Rooney will score AT LEAST 2. I'm just feeling a goal from someone else. Crouch perhaps?
  17. So you have three of the world's top strikers? Damn. Villa?
  18. If Cristiano Ronaldo is your captain I will kick your ass.
  19. You must have Rooney or Torres then because they're the only two strikers who can compete with him.
  20. Greece 1 - 0 South Korea Argentina 2 - 0 Nigeria England 3 - 1 USA
  21. Mine is one of my strikers...hehe... <----
  22. Agreed on the reffing. Great, consistent calls in the first two games, and they didn't let the players whining get to them. Yep. They're nothing short of dreadful. I lol'd.
  23. 2 boring games. Can't wait for tomorrow. 3 of my favorite teams will play (USA, ARG, ENG)
