  1. i was going to say we have seen this before lol
  2. footyfan i agree with everything you said 100% Look deep into the lyrics - Those who are dead are not dead there just living in my head The sky could be blue, I don't mind, without you its a waste of time If you love me won't you let me That talks of love and death, if that isn't emotion I don't no what is# Eno is a genius who expands there minds not a dictator or a tyrant...he is move of an influence rather than pushing them into things
  3. Agreed! Some of you are making Eno sound like a dictator
  4. That was me about the stories :P I agree there is always going to be album you like less than others. For others who say Eno is ruining coldplay, i disagree and I am sure Coldplay would take great offense to such remarks
  5. O the sythesizer in life in technicolor ii is incredible. That sound is majestic and conjures up so much imagery! People say Coldplay is dull listen to Life in technicolor ii
  6. How can songs like Strawberry Swing or 42 not mean something. The album viva la vida is drawn on their experience of life and death. Some see Viva La Vida as dark but I see it as inspirational. Songs like Prospekts March and Life in Technicolor ii, the words are so poignant and amazing.
  7. Viva La Vida is genius - stories within one big story. You cannot doubt its credentials.
  8. Agreed! You cannot expect a band to do the same thing over and over again. Each Album needs to be original as possible without losing that spark, for me Coldplay have achieved this
  9. I'm not good with words so i hope this makes sense.. We have all heard Leftrightleftrightleft and seen Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. So here is a debate to discuss your favourite live performance of one individual song. o not your favourite live song ever but I want to know one time when you seen or heard a live version of a Coldplay song and you have thought that is Coldplay at their best. I am going for The Scientist Live at Glastonbury 2005 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7OQSl4FdJE]YouTube- ‪Coldplay - Scientist‬‎[/ame] Please if possible place videos or Audios. Thanks
  10. I typed in the word Technicolor in google and came across a picture and with it, came this piece of music. During bits it uses a Life In Technicolor sample http://www.chubbybeavers.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Life-In-Technicolor-J-T-V-Dub-Mix.mp3 Pretty cool..quite long about 8 minutes long if link doesn't work scroll down on this page to a picture of a water drop with a mixture of colours and the link is below it http://www.chubbybeavers.com/?m=201005

Disagree with your statements for collaborations - the jay-z on Lost is genius. The lyrics are truly stunning. But it is a matter of opinion For - Taking care of their fans and appreciating them Against - Need more concentration on a Live Tour DVD haha Honestly in my eyes coldplay can do no wrong - its wierd :S
  12. of Chris hurting himself during life in technicolor when he seems to hurt himself with a sparkler. I saw it ages ago and its annoying me. Thanks
  13. I've voted everyday bar one. SORRY!! really enjoying this world cupesque competition. Looking forward to the knockout stages

  18. Viva La Vida was played when Berbatov scored for Man United. (The waaaaoooooooooooo bit) Anyway dont you like it when your out and about or watching a TV program and you hear coldplay, always gets me singing or makes my day alittle better :)
  19. There I was eating my tea while watching The Simpsons and Viva La Vida came on. I looked up and it was an advert for a new 3CD album feature some good band anthems. Epic is an Understatement. 20. A Message is my favourite coldplay song along with Life in Technicolor ii
  21. Hey all, I read my two weeks ago and literally finished it within a day. I said to myself I wouldnt do it and save it for my holiday but I caved. As that has all ready been mentioned this isn't a story about coldplay it is a story about Matt McGinns journey with coldplay. How in such a small space of time a band can become so big and how it affects those around them. I dont want to ruin it for any1 but it is certainly a book of laughs and you can all but picture some of the things that happen within the coldplay group. Its an emotional ending with the story of wembley and being there myself made me appreciate this anymore. This book is a must have for any aspiring roadie or coldplay fan. You do get little snippets into coldplay but just enough to have you wanting more. I think this is a good thing as it doesn't dish the dirt on the coldplay journey but rather let you have a peak inside without being too pervy about coldplay and allowing them to still have some privacy! cheers! xx
